My fave U2 albums are Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and Rattle & Hum. Indeed, the sonic evolution between Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby is one of the biggest examples of a musical act redefining their sound and growing artistically. It was why I was relaxed about Taylor moving into Pop because U2 had changed things up and still produced amazing albums. Like U2, Taylor was not scared to evolve as an artist but took a risk with 1989 and it paid off.
So while some might prefer Red, and some might prefer 1989, I think they are both great albums and a credit to Taylor's discography.
We know that Taylor has met U2. I would love a collaboration in the future or maybe just a guest performance on the 1989 World Tour!

I didnt say SOG doesnt use metaphors but "clever" was the keyword...but hey I guess all people dont have the same standarts as mine

just because you don't think they're good metaphors doesn't mean they aren't, and i don't think it means people have lesser standards than you. just saying.
there are some fantastic, clever ideas going on in SOG
