I'm gonna be honest here, I don't think 1989 deserves a nomination for AOTY, lyrically RED is miles better. The production is top notch, but songs like IWYW, WTNY and HYGTG are dull and forgettable fillers with no sense. BB is a Laving-Perra song, The rest of the album is a 10/10, but those songs are still there and the quality of the album goes down. thank god for the deluxe tracks.

1989 has a great shot at AOTY at the Grammys next year. It is probably the fave to win it at this point. The biggest obstacle to it winning is Fearless previously winning it.
