I can see where you're coming from (although I don't think Elsa, Dandy, Gloria, Bette and Dot were poorly written). Desiree was a flat character, but Angela still acted her ass off in the role. I was convinced, and, acting-wise, it's extremely difficult to get an audience to buy into a poorly-written character. I think Kathy and Angela were the only ones that really did it in
Freak Show. The rest... not so much.
Why I gave Desiree a 10.
