The only information we got was: Matt Bomer is to be a lead character, Cheyenne Jackson is to be a lead character, Jessica Lange is not returning and filming will take place in Los Angeles
The host was plain and didn't ask many provoking questions, and the audience members' questions were hit-and-miss. The panel members deflected all significant and potentially informative questions. Many think it's because Ryan told them to keep it secret.
It's speculated that
Hotel may be a casting reboot, since all three announced main cast members are brand-new (save Matt's one episode).
I think the speculation about the cast's disdain is exaggerated at best. Matt and Jessica were asked questions regarding Gaga, and both answered neutrally. Some think their facial expressions indicated their dislike, but they were all very drunk and (at times) confused, so I think it serves no purpose to split hairs in this situations.
