Sorry for the double post but this was posted on the Square Enix twitter and is basically a survey on where they are at atm and you can drop them suggestions over what you want in the future. I asked for Final Fantasy XII International HD and my additional comments were about how I approved their positive representation of LGBT characters in their games and hoped to see more diversity.

Just took the survey! I asked for a sequel to The World Ends With You in the suggestions section (if anyone remembers that game, it was the best JRPG last gen, imo)

Done the survey, asked them to establish the DQ brand in Europe following the example of Level 5 with Layton and Inazuma, told them about pursuing a better word of mouth of their products and that I was looking forward to FFXV and KH3, patiently waiting the localization of Bravely Second, Dragon Quest VII and Dissidia FF and repeated like 3 times that I wanted The World Ends With You 2 to be released.

I forgot about Parasite Eve (Them too, it wasn't even an option in any question ) and Mevius tho

I don't think they own the rights to Parasite Eve anymore, all they own is the character Aya. That's why we got the disastrous The 3rd Birthday instead.

I've never gotten into the series though. I own and try to get through Till the End of Time but I still haven't I can never really grasp the battle system.

It's still owned by Squeenix , the developer Tri Ace however has been bought by a mobile gaming company

It's basically a sci fi Tales of, battle system is just as fun and dynamic.

I usually don't spend much money on stuff, but I finally caved in and bought a PS3 since the PS4 won't be worth it until 2016 now and Sony has a better range of RPGs than Microsoft (already have Xbox 360; was waiting to see if Xbox One or PS4 would be worth getting now).

So ready to play the FFX/X-2 HD remaster.

I bought other RPGs, too, and played some on Xbox, but do you guys have any suggestions for some good JRPGs/RPGs for PS3?

TheGreatestThing, they just announced X/X-2 HD remaster for PS4 in a couple of months.

I will always be a fan of the XIII trilogy but it is very divisive and most people here probably do not like it at all. You should dig out NieR - it's a gorgeous and stunningly written game about a man that is trying to save his dying daughter. It was produced by Square Enix and has one of the best scores ever, an almost entirely sung one.

Oh, well.

The PS3 was cheap. ~$230 for a 500GB system, and PS3 has a good amount of exclusives. I'll get to the current generation at some point in 2016 or 2017. I'm waiting for the next TES and to see how The Witcher 3 pans out. Is the Wii U worth it? I have the 3DS, but I'd probably only use the Wii U for Legend of Zelda and the next Paper Mario and Animal Crossing.
