The sales would be doubled if it actually counted as a double disc album, but it isn't because the time length of the album isn't long enough. So it was sold as a double disc album(more expensive to buy), but doesn't get the 2 disc sales. That's what I've read, at least. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It should be around 5 million, since it has 3.5 million certified alone in 2006. Based on its chart-runs I think it's realistic to say it managed to sell an extra ~1.5 million also having in mind RCA never cared to update its certifications, for example it's eligible for 2x platinum in the US. For such a different sound at the time I think it was a great success, considering the it girls back then Fergie and Nelly sold around the 6/8 million region having major hits. The same applies to her debut, which had plenty of room to grow, 11.4 million certified (dated) it's eligible for diamond status in the US, and the sales climate back then was at its peak.

The sales below, seem realistic. They are very similar to Mediattrafic's estimations as well, only I had her post-KGB efforts underestimated and MR/MKOC overestimated.

All of this sounds very believable, minus Lotus selling 550,000 copies tbh. I could believe 500k, but 550k sounds a bit much given that it only sold 292,000 in the US.

I hope her label gets their **** together and properly certify her albums and singles. CA needs to be diamond, YB / JAF need to be gold and I think her B2B singles are under certified as well.

I'd say KGB becuase of how underwhelming the single was, how messy ALL the performances were and how that era spawned the first Gaga comparisons

Definitely KGB--that's when the Gaga backlash began and it carried over into the Bionic era. Plus her VMA performance of the new Genie in a Bottle is one of her career's worst performances imo. Legend lip-synching like all those other basic pop acts had me cringing at the time.

Yeah, that performance was not very good. Her messy AMA's medley is even worse though

If Legend wants to serve choreo again, she should use pre-recorded live sounding vocals and echo to make it much less obvious But even if she doesn't want to lipsynch, I'll be happy with replicating what she did for NBA. Slay us with a few dance moves at first and then going in with live vocals

Totally KGB. Her first flop lead single (Dirrty wasn't a flop) and album, and the Gaga comparisons. Sadly her latest releases didn't outsold her first flop
