I think that is so stupid to say. Just because you're a man doesn't cancel out the fact that you're gay. If you're seen as "feminine" then you're still just as screwed. Don't go that route. But I agree with the other half of your post.

I disagree. From an American standpoint, women and black people are supposed to be protected under the law against hate crimes and other forms of discrimination (jobs, education, etc.). They're also allowed to get married freely and adopt.

There is no legal protection for LGBT employees in most states. Most states don't factor sexual orientation/gender identity into housing discrimination laws. Some states don't even have laws protecting the LGBT community from hate-crimes, and if they do, they probably don't include transgendered people in these laws. Although it shouldn't be an oppression olympics or anything like that, many basic protections that women and PoC have don't apply to the LGBT community. And this only encompasses the LGBT community in the USA, there are countries in the world that outright ban homosexual activity, and don't recognize transgendered people. Madonna shouldn't have spoken on this subject.

Its always better to be a man than it is to be a woman in any racial, religious, ethnic group (except arguably black men).. there's a huge rape culture problem, viewing women as sex objects, the lesser weaker dumber sex and only good for mens sexual pleasure & reproduction. At the same time it'll be dumb to say black or gay people have it better than a woman. I feel like discrimination &denying rights against gays or murdering gay people is justified because people see it as a sin where as there is no religious justification of discriminating against black people or women its just seen as hateful

Well, the fact that you are gay doesnt exclude the fact that you are still a male Straight or gay, it doesn't matter

- you won't be seen as an incubator for carrying children starting from like being legal
- you won't be ****-shamed after doing something sexual if you become a parent (and even if you don't)
- you won't be affected by beauty standards and fake image that was made specially for !women!
- you will have absolutely no problem to have a future profession in science, politics and other stuff that is still seen as a "male" activity
- you won't have to argue to have a right over controlling your body and having and abortion; you also won't be judged because of doing that

Where do you think homophobia stems from? Why do you think people view being a "feminine" man as a bad thing? Misogyny.

It all comes back to the difference between what we define as a man and what we define as a woman. Being associated with stereotypical female attributes, thus being viewed as weak or less than, is the real reason that homophobia exists. The link between the gay struggle and the plight of the woman is much deeper than people realize.
