The Woo Hoo leak was so messy tho. The moderately MQ snippet. The HQ snippet. The super LQ full leak. The YouTube videos that combined the HQ snippet with the LQ leak. The eventual leak of the full HQ song months and months later. Omg.
I remember I never downloaded it until we got the full HQ in order to not spoil the song and its momentum
I hated Woo Hoo when the HQ finally leaked in full cause I was so used to the LQ version. I can appreciate that it's a good song now but it's certainly not lead single material
^ I've thought of that before, but I was actually kinda disappointed with Die Young at first cause it was bland. Now, after all that time, I can tell I'd have prefered WH to be the first single if it had a different bridge for sure.
And as he spoke, he spoke, ordinary words
Though they did not feel
For I felt what I had not felt before
And you'd swear those words could heal and
As I looked up into those eyes, his vision borrows mine
And I know he's no stranger
For I feel I've held him for all of time, and he said,
Take my hand, live while you can, Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand?
If we walk now, we can divide &
conquer this land.
The video
The demo for it was called Divide & Conquer. She's God (as is Kesha, Michelle Branch is a demigod).

I don't think it was finished. Woo Hoo's lyricism is some of the best work she's ever because it's super feminist and progressive, I really wish it could've been released.
It sounds like a kiddie song in the beginning. It's like 80s-tacky. The song itself is lazy and just kinda thumps along. The chorus is easily her worst chorus ever
You can tell Dr. Luke thought the instrumental was sUpEr GoOd
Mess at me just realising that "pay dust" is an ATRL thing since I just got my English composition back and my teacher had no clue of what I was saying
