Carla (Jennifer Lawrence) is the secretary of the director of a big multinational in New York. She lives in a flat with her friend Michaela (Lupita Nyong'o), who is a lawyer. One day at the gas station, Carla meets Oliver (Dylan O'Brien), because he works there. Oliver is what some people would call a "bad guy". After some days, Carla realizes she has a crush on Oliver, so she starts visiting the gas station more often. After a month, Oliver and Carla start dating, but he lives in another city so Carla drives every day through the motorway to see him.
One night, while Carla is coming back home, she has a car accident, which left her in a coma. Michaela thinks Oliver did something in Carla's car so she'd have a car accident. She starts investigating till she finds it was Oliver's fault. In the same day Oliver is arrested for this, Carla dies.

I'm so happy that "Victoria" was a box office success and managed earn back the budget, and then some! The cast and crew worked so hard on this project and doing justice to Victoria's incredible story. More importantly than the box office sales though, hope that every woman who went to see this film was able to pull some inspiration from it, and gain a stronger sense of empowerment.
