This thread has been on fire lately! I just finished watching the DVD for the first time. Her vocals were so on point and visually, it was magnificent!

Even if Ace doesn't approve a full rate, we could do our own rate in the base! I might be able to make graphics

I was about to recommend this! I'm down for an in-base rate if we can't get a full site-wide one!

So the DVD comes out tomorrow in the US/Canada right? Does anyone know if you can buy the DVD/CD together? Or separately? Or both?
An in-base rate could actually be better because we don't need false stans participating in the rate and ****ing up the results tbh

Here's what I plan on doing for the rate:
I'm going to listen through each album.
Since there's 2 versions of COO and 2 ( ) versions of Up, I was planning on rating both versions of the songs (sans Rock This Country) and go with the one that got a higher rating) So that way, I wouldn't feel restricted to go with just one version. (i.e. - I rate the TDIMM country version a 7 and I rate the TDIMM pop version an 8. I would submit the pop version's rating).

I think that's good. Except TDIMM pop version is a 10000. I'm going to use all the pop versions from Up tbh

I'm going to give the green version of Up! a chance, given I haven't heard them in a while. I think it would be best to give them all (the versions) a chance rather than stick with just one.
The reason I listened to the blue version of Up was to see if it was good enough to consider in ratings. Well, that's a straight up, no.

If and when we do this rate, it's going to be a long week for all of us. Going back to albums, PMing the host our results. Poor host would have to calculate 57 songs. 60 if we were to include the GH tracks (Don't, No Quitter, and Party). This would be the death of us!

I think the GH tracks should be used! I know the songs so well, I will be able to rate them without even listening (although I probably will listen anyway) except for self-titled.
I could probably calculate the results if no one else wants to do it, I just have to be careful which day it all happens depending on my assignment dates

I think we should split the discography. Have like people PM their ratings for 2 albums to someone. And send the other two albums + GH tracks to someone else.
I already intend on giving Don't superiority.

Well, hello! Even though the blue version of Up is tragic, I am so jealous you have all of the versions! And GH international too, huh? I bow down to you!
BE,BT is my favorite non-single from COO (I can say that with confidence since there are only 4 non-singles). COO and HIH are really awesome! Such bops. Which version of Party for Two do you prefer: country or pop? I prefer the pop. Any Man of Mine (I see you say it derives from her GH. It's from her 2nd album, Woman In Me ) is such a stomper! Gonna Getcha Good is one of my favorite singles EVER from her. It's so fascinating to see you love the tracks (Waiter, C'est La Vie, Nah, and Ain't Goin' Down) from Up! that get overshadowed by it's singles. C'est La Vie and Nah! are definitely my favorites out of the 4 non-single tracks you've listed!

Yeah we can figure it out, and also decide if we wanna be able to give each participants maybe 3 11s they can give out to their absolute favorite songs

I like the country version, but I think I like the pop version of Party for Two more, I know that Any Man of Mine is from Woman In Me, but I only have the Greatest Hits and that's one of my favourite songs from the Greatest Hits even though it's from Woman In Me. My grandmother give it to me, as she was selling stuff for the car boot sale, even though I know that they are different versions, I definitely prefer the North American versions to the International versions, as it's pure Shania whereas I feel that the pop versions are kind of bland, although I love the Red version of Juanita it's better than the Green and the Blue versions.

Well, I do hope you find her first two records. Her debut is AMAZING. Since I'm more a pop fan, I do prefer international versions, but I love the original version of Come On Over (which, thank God, is in my possession). A lot of red versions of Up! I prefer over Green. I need to get myself listening to it again. I do find the blue versions very poorly mixed. But when I did listen to it, I did like: the title track, I'm Gonna Getcha Good (except for the intro), Forever and for Always, and Waiter, Bring Me Water. We in the base don't acknowledge the blue version as it's just... nauseating.
