Lots of people don't read spoilers. Besides... as the season goes on So is still going to be the least valuable player at the end.
I don't see it as a free pass due to the math from last season

I understand what you're saying, lots of people try to avoid spoilers so let's not punish them.
But I don't see why those of us who had the common sense not to pick her in a million years will receive a guaranteed -30 from every one of our vote outs while the sheeple will wind up having 30 less possible points they can get taken away?
There should be a compromise. Maybe have a puzzle thing just for people who didn't pick her and if they solve it they get to win back 30 points they lost from one of their voted out members. Or have everyone else's first vote out only be minus 15 points.
You're preventing those who kept her on their draft from getting screwed while not allowing those who changed their picks as a result of the spoiler to gain an unfair advantage, but there's a whole 3rd group of people to consider.

This is silliness.
I could absolutely see there being people who avoided spoilers and didn't know she'd be 1st out and picked her unwittingly, and yes, those people deserve some kind of protection/reward for avoiding spoilers in comparison to those who changed their picks.
But anyone who knew the spoiler and picked her anyway was just asking to get screwed. That's like seeing a car coming as a crosswalk and being like "**** it, I'mma just walk" and then complaining that you got hit.
The point of this competition is not to make a cutesy little team to pop in your avatar, it's to actually pick people who you think will get you the win.
Gabe from Season 4 telling his tribe he's not there to play the game and immediately getting voted out teas.

First of all, what on earth would make you think that post was anything but an assumption based on challenge performance exhibited in the first episode?
Second of all, bottom line, you just called a person an it. Reported for that.

Personally, I picked her before I knew of the spoiler, and after reading the spoiler decided to keep her just because 1. this draft is not and never will be that serious to me, and 2. I wanted her on my team for whatever reason to show my support for her. Now then, I don't know if anyone asked Geemarty to waive the -30 for her getting voted off, bc I certainly didn't and was OK with the hit, but if he's the one who is spending hours of his time on this draft and created everything and he wants to waive the voted off penalty for someone then he can do it. I don't even care if people who didn't have So on their team get one free person to get voted off waiver.
It's not that serious and I don't know why y'all are making such a big deal over it

nah, if she behind the scenes during the actual gameplay of the season, then she probably wouldn't be allowed, but up to now she could definitely still play and CBS would undoubtedly let her play again.

I appreciate the passion over the draft.
Never did I think people would care so much over something I spent hours putting together.
With that being said... Not deducting points from So was definitely an oversight on my part.
Never did I think people would care enough to comment on my decision. I will definitely consult everyone in the future when it comes to situations like this.
Hopefully this doesn't bring the integrity of the draft into question. Never would I try to rig or give someone else an advantage.
Idk how yet but I'll try to make it right
Thanks for playing yall.

Even though I'm one of the people that did not benefit from the So decision, I don't think you should change how you're conducting the draft. You're doing a great job as it is and don't worry about the (few) people that are complaining in here. The integrity of the rate is most definitely not in question, there is absolutely no reason for it to be.
Keep up the good work, geemarty. You're doing a great job and I'm sure most people, if not everyone in this thread would agree with me on this.

@GeeMarty please ignore that fool who is making a big deal out of nothing. You do an AMAZING job at handling these drafts and whatever decision you made is fine. No one (with sense) would question your integrity behind it. You deserve a big thank you for creating a fun and creative way to participate in these shows and it's much appreciated. It even inspired drafts for other shows such as the RPDR one, which has a record-breaking 50 members in it already

I need Jeff to UNDERSTAND that Heroes vs Villains was one of the BEST ideas and that if anything, that needs to come back.
But, most importantly, I need Jeff to UNDERSTAND that I NEED to see the 4th coming of Overlord P. I need him to realize that he has to make "Survivor: All Winners" a THING. That's the only way she's coming back one last time.

But you know Poverty is just gonna get stomped by the real Queen of Survivor again, right?

By "it" I meant "the statement", I don't know if I used it correctly since English is not my first language, but I thought I did. But go ahead, 1 point in a year will do nothing.
I apologize if Hay Amores was just speculating, I'm not prideful enough to admit my mistakes. Still, I think it could be spoilers so the one who needs to clarify is him/her.

Oh and I support my fellow thread mates. OprahIsBlack is acting as if this is actually Survivor and if you win you get the million dollars. Relax, buddy.

I want to clarify that I don't think that at all. I understand that you were being benevolent and trying to even the playing field between those who at first picked So and then switched and those who avoided spoilers and then picked her. It's understandable. I'm just questioning if that should actually be the end of it or if additional special things should happen for the rest of us.
Perhaps I'm looking at the math wrong, but all I'm saying is that in the end the difference of 30 points between two people whose picks all got voted off but one picked So and one did not could wind up being significant enough to make a difference of a good handful of spots. If I'm alone and everyone else thinks everything's fine, then that's alright and I'll just STFU.
I would also like to thank you for taking the time to put the draft together and apologize if my comments have made it seem like I don't appreciate your efforts.

LMAO, the definition of doing the most.
It's a bold assumption. I picked So, and didn't even change my draft cos I didn't even watch that damn promo.

I think I've figured out the first and last words, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the middle one is.
EDIT: Now I get the middle part
Now I need to think about the last word again because what I'm thinking doesn't make sense

It's really not a big deal at all, and geemarty has been doing at great job, but Oprah is (pretty much) right. I think having the people who selected So not lose any points for her boot is unfair and will end up skewing the scoreboard, but it's a minor issue.
