So this has til May to peak, and then TTS can take over. This era is coming together lovely. I still wanna know when tour dates will be released considering they're 'rumored' on sale March 5th.
I think one of the reasons why a lot of fans are "upset" with the new era is because they expected Rih to make this great comeback, which doesn't seem to be happening so far, and also because they expected everything she releases to shoot straight to the top. As a result, they get frustrated and annoyed.
I understand why some can be less than satisfied but I wish some people would be more reasonable. The era has barely started. If these comments were being made after the era had finished, I could even be inclined to agree with you, but the album hasn't even be released.
Also, I don't know how you can expect TTS to pull big spin gains or sell several hundred thousand copies when she has a song with over 10,000 spins on Pop radio which was performed at the Grammys, while TTS hasn't even been performed anywhere and is tied to a movie which only comes out in a few weeks from now (aka that neither the Navy nor the GP has seen), but ok.
I believe it's kinda unrealistic to expect the base to remain exactly the same. I mean, people come and go and people in here change. But the base could be a lot more enjoyable if a lot of the negativity would be thrown out the windon. Relax, people. Rih may even surprise us all, let's wait and see

Also I don't get why "Feel The Light" was released 1 day after TTS (on iTunes), with a lyric video, and is already on Spotify. The lyric video is also being aired on TV........doesn't make sense.
And she already had an interview with Radio disney.
I still feel like she released it to hold us over/give us a clue of what direction she's going in for some songs on R8. It makes more sense than saying that FFS was a buzz single. You don't perform those at the Grammys.

Rih ain't cheap, she wouldn't release a "shut up navy" single, especially since TTS came out just 4 weeks later.
It's the 1st single but it's not the one who will be used to promote the album, so not the lead.
(I have a sudden feeling that R8 is coming, this situation is confusing. )
Hopefully Rihanna starts soon too and Steve Martin.
Steve Martin would be great for Jimmy Fallon promo (I would love to see Rih on because I want to see her play one of those games Jimmy does but I doubt it). Fallon's stuff goes viral more than any other host I think. If they did something great, went viral, wow the promo
