Maybe she'll still be in the studio in April, doesn't mean the album can't drop 2 weeks later. And stop the delusion, the R8 TOUR starts in June. The album is dropping in May at the latest. Unless Rihanna tries something new and super innovative aka doing a full European stadium tour supporting her new album while the album isn't out yet and with no new songs to perform except FFS & the 4 soundtrack songs (not to mention that she most likely won't perform all her songs from HOME on the next tour).

Lmaoooo she's not working on R8 for 2 years, but for 9/10 months actually.
And it has nothing to do with how long she's working on it. If the album is dropping in April or May, there's nothing wrong with the fact that she's still recording.
Plus the album packaging is done, it has a release date, and probably an album title.
