Chart Analysis: This week we have a new number one. Blank Space left a gap to fill in, and who better to fill in that space than Taylor Swift? Style replaced Blank Space and becomes her second song to hit number one this year.
Taylor held off some strong competition from Sam Smith, who's I'm Not The Only One vaulted up the chart to number two. Also, getting into the top five for the first time is Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney with FourFiveSeconds. Their single will be fun to watch as it seems to be gaining across YTT as a whole.
A couple notable debuts this week: Ella Henderson with Ghost, Big Sean with IDFWU, and Nicki MInaj with Truffle Butter. Most surprisingly is Missy Elliott with two decade old songs: Work It and Get Ur Freak on. They're classics but are always welcome.
Interestingly, a couple songs made history on this chart. Heartbeat song becomes the first song to go into recurrency, return and re-chart (at number five) as it exited the Hot 100 top 40 and came back. It's still eligible to vote for and will be until it leaves again. Also, Ariana Grande's Love Me Harder has the greatest fall without leaving the chart (a drop from 5-20). Guess the song isn't being as loved as hard as it deserves.

Chart Analysis: Taylor Swift rules like a ruthless queen for another week with her Style It was a somewhat close race between the top 3, with a score of 5 points separating each song.
More excitingly, Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint single Truffle Butter hits a new peak. Number 2! It's the second time a song without a video has made the Top 5.
We had a couple new debuts this week. Most excitingly is Natalie La Rose and Jeremih's Somebody. It's a pretty cool song that uses a Whitney Houston reference and a DJ Mustard beat to some good success. Another new face to this chart and the Billboard chart is Sam Hunt; his pop single Take Your Time is a bit of a grower, but is pretty solid. If he sticks around on the Billboard charts, it will be interesting to see how we does here.
