We're definitely not giving up. We took a risk relying on unreleased software since their delays automatically become our own. But given a chance to do it over I'd still go with IPB because the end product we're seeing now far surpasses any other forum software we've tried to work with.

Because he accumulated 3 warnings with 3 warning points each that expire after 3 months. Wouldn't make much sense only to ban him for 1 month.

That ban is 2 months though, not 3 so he'll still have all those 3 pointers as he would with a 1 month ban. & there's been many people who've been banned for 30 days with points accumulated like that. That's how people come back, get an extra 2+ points, then end up having 11-19 and risk a permaban. If they just set your ban to whenever most your points expired then nobody would really be getting permabanned.

Wait, how exactly does that work? I've never had more than 10 warning points coming back from a ban. Wouldn't you say if you came back from a ban with 9 warning points then accumulated another 1 point, you'd get banned for a month again, right? But if you come back from a ban with 10 warning points, would it count your points up until 20 and thus resulting into a permaban?

You get 10+ points that don't expire after your 30 day ban.

Had he gotten 3 pointers 3 times for 9 points, then 2 for trolling he would return after a month will 11 points.

Two of Soeplepel posts were reported today and I'm just curious why they haven't been warned yet?

They were ignorant/racist/xenophobic towards the asian community and I don't think it's acceptable to condone that kind of post by letting it slide.
