I'm sorry I don't get the longevity angle. GF will have sold 4.5 mil albums in 4 months and broke some more records on the way. Ed/Sam's 8 month longevity has sold 1.1-1.3 mil albums in the US. The music industry is changing its about front load, like the movie industry. According to Hitsdailydouble, Republic Record was the top record label in 2014 bc of Taylor's 3.6 mil album sales. Besides Taylor has 2-3 more singles to release this year.
