Sort of same. My parents listened to like 80s radio while I was growing up so that was my main introduction to Madonna with like Holiday, Into The Groove, and Crazy For You. And then the next thing I heard from her that I can remember was like either Hard Candy or like Revolver tbh and then I had to fill in the gaps of the 90s and early 2000s.
my mom was a HUGE fan so i can remember always hearing music and the entire album in the car, and i think she was one of the people that hated her during AL because i remember the first time i heard it on my own i didnt recognize any of it but i knew hung up because i was old enough to remember when it was a "hit" in the US....it should have been so much bigger I'm so bitter it went #1 in every other country in the world like

I always remember Hung Up as being bigger than it was too. Haha. It just seems so timeless that it deserved to be. Yeah neither of my parents really cared for her but I did find Erotica in their massive cd collection downstairs once which cracked me up.

i made a revised tracklisting playlist for ROL, taking out the 3 songs i don't really care for enough (Shanti, TPOG, and THANTH) and putting Bedtime Story in between CPG and Skin, because i was curious to see how that song worked with the rest of the album.
Being reported is one thing but from your own fanbase is the worst.
