Just want to clarify - what exactly are we going to be judged on? Is it how little we'll actually need this track in later rounds? Or the quality of the song submitted?
I ask because I could see this going two ways - if I submit a not so good song from the album because I don't think I'll use it again, judges MAY give me a high score because they agree I won't need a song like this in the game...OR...they may give me a low score because they don't like the song very much?
Just want to be sure.

Your explanation on why you won't need the song is the most important thing. It's a very open ended round, you can go the way you want, just make sure to convince us you made the right choice.

This was like the 'Sweet Sacrifice' round, a season ago. You'd have to sacrifice a song and never use it again because it was, in fact, useless. You have to think which song you won't probably use again and explain WHY you don't think you're using it ever again. Then the judges will read your essay, listen to your song, see if you make sense and then rate you. Once again, this is a subjective round but you have to make sense with your song choice-essay.

Guys, I have a question I'd like to ask y'all. I have been to ask this for a long time now and this doesn't mean I'm using this song this specific round.
So! As you know, I have two different versions of 'Dare (La La La)'. This one, the main one, and the one created for the worldcup. In case you don't know, the songs are different. Lyric-wise, they have nothing in common and instrumental-wise, there are some changes. 'La La La (Brazil 2014)' has more brazilian elements in the instrumental. It is not as electronic as 'Dare'.
My question is: Can/Should I consider those two different songs?
Remember each song has a spanish version and those I consider the same exact song. This is what I think:
'Dare (La La La)' = 'La La La' (Spanish). Same Song. Using one means using the other.
'Dare (La La La)' // 'La La La (Brazil 2014). Similarities in the instrumental but total different lyrics and instrumental changes.

Pedro, I'm not a judge, but I won't vote against you for using those two songs
I think they're pretty different. I love La La La, but not so much Dare (La La La)

Baroness is a female noun though
I'm just happy to be here right now and that I made it this far.

I would consider them different songs, since the lyrics aren't the same.

Yea I consider the Brazil version to be a different song as well. Just like Lips Are Moving and All About That Bass are considered different songs.

I forgot to tell you guys! Last night, I was at a diner with my family, and this song was playing in the background on the radio. It sounded somewhat familiar, but I couldn't place it until the song was almost over. It was Miracle by Kimbra, which we experienced in this game earlier in the season! It was really cool to hear an unknown song from this game outside of ATRL

That's so cool! I love this game for that, we are introduced to new music because everyone wants to present their faves!

OH wow that's awesome! Glad I introduced you to this album.
Reminds me of a time and similar situation where I heard Neon Valley Street by Janelle Monae is a restaurant, very randomly.

At first I was thinking Neon Gumbo and was really surprised
That's so cool! Janelle needs more exposure and Neon Valley Street seems like it would be awesome restaurant music.
