Ciara has just released the artwork to her upcoming album, Fantasy Ride, which will be released in May. The third album from the popular R&B performer had initially been pushed back a few months, but is now ready to reclaim her spot as one of R&B's top divas.
Towards the end of 2008, Ciara had actually released the single "Go Girl," featuring T-Pain, but the single was not met with much excitement as it quickly fell from the top of the charts. But with the success of the popular "Never Ever," which has already reached #1 on BET's 106 & Park countdown video show, and Ciara's new single "Love Sex Magic," a collaboration between her and her labelmate, Justin Timberlake, Ciara is keeping the momentum going.
Ciara recently stopped by BET to give the staff a preview of her upcoming album. "Fantasy Ride" teams Ciara up with a number of hot producers, including Lil' Jon, The Dream and Tricky. During the listening session, Ciara talked about the direction she was taking her music, and gave a few highlights for what her fans can expect. She also collaborated with fellow ATL-ien, Ludacris on the track, "High Price."
Ciara's "Fantasy Ride" was mostly uptempo, with beats that will have her voice dominating dance floors across the country. Still, Cici did have one or two seductive ballads. When asked about taking her music and image in a more mature direction, Ciara told BET.com that she constantly thinks about the children and how her music affects the younger community when she makes decisions.
