I searched duelist kingdom rules ygopro because the custom card one aint cutting it and found that.

Anyone else getting disappointed with the gaming series as of late? Think back to 2004; we had Capsule Monsters (still my favorite game in the world, stay pressed), we had Duelist of the Roses, we had Dungeon Dice Monsters, we had Destiny Board Traveller (ok it was ****, but w/e), we had Falsebound Kingdom. Those all came roughly at the same time.
All we have now is basic card game after basic card game after basic card game. Can we not try something new? That could be the reason that i hardly played the 3ds game and the PS3 Millenium Duels, I only battled 4 guys. Even if they wanna use the card game, put a spin on it.
Maybe have a flashback for the 20th anniversary and release a game with only the classic cards and Duelist Kingdom rules (yes, I know it's completely reaching). Maybe release a game where the only duels were four-way duels like Yugi v Kaiba v Joey v Marik. Release a much better RPG than Falsebound (don't get me wrong, I love it, but it ran too slow and could be better now). Release Capsule Monsters 2.0 (I ****ing wish ). Release a game based on the Millenium World.
Probably just me but I'm sick of the same card game. We have YGOPRO so who needs them. Give us something amazing and mindblowing that's not "inserts new confusing card types that make the original cards redundant". Anyone remember the days where summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon was a feat in itself; and now it's done in 1 turn and destroyed the next. Byeeeee.

To be honest I don't like any video game that isn't OCG related.
Dice, Roses, etc. I hate them.
Also, I prefer playing on a video game, like the new Tag Force, than in YGOPro, simply because sometimes people use the same decks and in video games I can make whichever deck I want and duel against whichever deck I want with a good AI.
But yeah, again, that's my opinion.

I do get what you mean tho. When a franchise is based on one thing, it's what you want to be the main thing. Awk how most of my fave games tho are the non-card games. I love the old Power of Chaos games but generally Roses, Capsules and Kingdom > imo.
TBH. I want to do some custom Harpie cards. Maybe some god card support but that would be way OP

It is because I like the card game.
Sometimes, seeing the monsters doing other things that aren't their real effects or stats is just disgusting for me.
For example, that's the reason I hate the Pokémon TCG. Cuz it doesn't make sense, for me Pokémon are video games about catching them all, nothing more (yeah, not here for the other kind of games, except maybe pinball).
So any YGO game that isn't about the OCG just don't appeal to me.

I understand. I was gonna use that example. (But the Pokemon TCG was just **** lbr)
I personally feel like it brings a new side to it; i.e. the millenium world arc. To me, the origin of the monsters was in Ancient Egypt so things like Falsebound Kingdom doesn't feel as strange because they weren't cards as such. I like how it gives new persceptives. Falsebound gave us the harpie names so I luh it for that

Yeah, I understand, I mean, I don't hate them, they are part of the YGO legacy, but I prefer them releasing games for OCG than those kind of things.
Besides, the OCG sells like chocolate, so I don't think they will ever go back to those kind of games.

@Porygon what shall we have as the rules for the Duelist Kingdom duel?
Each deck must consist of 40 regular cards + 1 Duelist Kingdom Rulez card. Set LP to 2000 before duel starts.
Only cards from these packs are allowed (English version):

If a card was released to the TCG/OCG later than these packs but was in the anime, it is allowed (i.e. Makiu, The Magical Mist)
If a card was not released to the TCG/OCG but was in the Duelist Kingdom arc, it is allowed. (i.e. lol where do you start, Living Arrow, Gorgon's Eye, Negative Energy Generator etc)
No cards that deal LP damage, i.e. Ring of Destruction / Just Deserts or cost life points, i.e. Fairy Box (Anime versions that remove the cost, i.e. Toon World / Mirror Wall are ok).
Official TCG/OCG field-spells cannot be used. But custom-anime Field-Power Bonus cards (Darkness, Land, Meadow, Ocean, Forest, Graveyard, Mountain) are ok as they resemble the duelist kingdom playfield.
Three of any and every card.

Yuya, Yuzu and the other people compete in the Battle Royal round of the Maiami Championship.
While the battles become more and more intense, eventually Yuya and Kurosaki meet up. However, who appears before both of them is…
SUMMARY:
The Duel between Yuzu and Dennis starts. Meanwhile, Serena looks for the Xyz Scum, who she believes is Dennis. On the other hand, Yuya meets Kurosaki at the Ancient Ruins Area. As they exchange questions with each other, they are suddenly attacked by the Knight of Duels members and blasted away. Furthermore, Sora, who had previously gone missing, appears again in front of them. The destinies and mysteries behind everything starts to move once more.
-Will Serena find Dennis and kill him?
-Will Sora defeat Shun this time?
-Will Yuya become plot relevant like Yuzu?
-Will Yuzu lose to Dennis, who seems to be hiding something evil?

Am i the only one EXCITED for Sundays new episode?!?!?!?!?!? OMG SORA AND SHUN REMATCH!!!!!!! but its bound to get interrupted probably by Yuri..Yuri will probably make his entrance and tell Sora he has important business to attend to and Reiji may also appear so they both meet. i doubt Shun is going to get cardified this early in bc he is Reiji's next best duelist (besides Yuya) that we know of...because theres still that little kid who fuses trapcards

I'm extremely excited, for many reasons:
1.- Sora vs Shun, even though I think they won't be showing the duel this episode, I mean, LOTS of things going on.
2.- Serena vs Dennis, I want Serena to KICK AND CARD HIS ASS, he deserves that at least (or fall into the lava and die). The only ARC-V character that I don't like, a mere Yuya wanna be.
3.- Yuya going crazy and KILLING the Obelisk force, OMG!

Sooosooosoooo pumped!!!!! For soem reason I think Dennis is a younger version of Yuya's dad...everything he says is strategic. He also stated he loves broadway and Dennis Macfield is a name thats different from the others so is this his stage name and is he wearing a disguise? I'm curious about him. I want Konami to print that Trapeze Magician though!!!!!! Must have it!

To be honest I think Dennis is hiding something, he knows waaaay to much about Yuya and Yuzu, and Yuya's dad. Such a creepy stalker.
