He´ll have to try and deal with it. Im not here for a toned down, green-screened mess just because this guy doesnt want his girlfriend working with other males

Shakira is the only artist "female" that most approximates Michael Jackson in that every song she makes she gives a special and unique dance to. Of all the female artists none come close to her in finding different style to each of her songs, of course her strengths clearly is Belly Dancing and Michael Jackson's strength was Tap Dancing based. She has done it in a language that is not her own without scandals and without transforming surgeries, Shakira still has many more years to continue conquering the world. I would love to see more women be less vain and more applied as Shakira. For me I find it easy to admire her as an artist and as a person too.

Mi Verdad debuts at #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Airplay chart! This marks the 1st time that Shakira has debuted at #1 on the chart (I was shocked too!) & the 3rd time for Maná (the only band/artist to do so BTW - no one else had has as many #1 debuts).

I don't think so...Billboard has Mi Verdad listed under the following for its debut week (we will see tomorrow, but I have a feeling they are separate charts)...

#1 on the Latin Airplay chart.
#4 on the Latin Pop Songs chart.
#6 on the Tropical Songs chart.

By comparsion, these were La Tortura's debuts...

#11 on the Hot Latin Tracks chart.
#15 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.
#16 on the Latin Tropical chart.

Mi Verdad will debut much higer than La Tortura on most charts at this point - and La Tortura went on to break the record for most weeks at #1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for 25 nonconsecutive weeks (until Bailando recently broke it).

Would be awesome! I believe it would be Maná's first BB Hot 100 entry (even Corazón Espinado with Carlos Santana only got to #22 on the US BB Latin Pop Airplay chart - and that won them Record of the Year at the 2000 Latin Grammys).

It would be incredible if Shakira helps them get their first BB Hot 100 song in their 29 year career!
