It's like the people who are only here for the EH sound will probably not like it a lot. And I'm not saying this in a bad way, I absolutely love the record.
Although I will dare say Electra Heart is her best work to date as much as she hates it, the whole vision is literally so alive and everything. FROOT is a great record, something she made all herself, with love, but EH is literally the one era I will never get over.  Like this and BTD |
It isn't a bad album by any means. I think for most stans what brings it down were some of the more, well, let's call them generic singles. Again, they weren't bad songs, they were quite good, but just not standouts that many Marina fans enjoy.
But again, a lot of people have different opinions. I LOVE
FROOT and think it is by far her strongest work yet. However, all of her albums are great masterpieces.
