It's the same. I think they did that when they included it on Halcyon. Not sure what the reasoning was.
They're actually very, very different. One is much, much dancier while the other is a little more stripped.
In the U.S., the single version was played on Top 40 and about halfway through its run, most HAC stations switched to the album version (or at least mine did).
Then again, my HAC station plays Dark Horse solo, Talk Dirty solo, etc. Is this the case for everyone else?
Never got the Lights "single version" though. How is it different?
In the "iTunes Bonus Track" version before it was a single, the beat didn't start until 0:56 in the song after singing almost the whole first verse and chorus. In the "Single Version", the beat starts at 0:07 right before she starts singing anything.

Kii my HAC station plays a horrible edit of Dark Horse solo and an all English version of Bailando now (lord knows who the **** is singing that part by GdZ)
We're in the same boat. I expect UF to hold steady for another week and then start falling slowly. It'll be at least a month before UF is weak enough for LMLYD to overcome it.
And some members COULD stop ruining the positive image Taylor created for me earlier in the 1989 era, but you all are making it difficult.
