These albums had well crafted music and had sounds that weren't commonplace in pop music at the time of their release, while also successfully progessing the individual artist's own sound imo. |
nope, I never said the two albums sounded exactly the same, just that some of the songs have a similar sound and that's why 1989 isn't progressive or even new to mainstream music. It just uses the 80's sound like a lot of other records have been using in the last years.
