I would have Taylor and a male actor play lovers throughout different eras. It would start with him picking her up in a different car (
"midnight, you come and pick me up, no headlights") to establish they're from different time periods.
e.g. the 70s, he rolls up her driveway in this:
And she's standing outside her house wearing something like this:
"Long drive, could end in burning flames or paradise"
This 80s car rolls into the driveway:
Taylor's wearing something like this:
"Fade into view, oh, it's been a while since I have even heard from you"
The same guy pulls up to her driveway in a Cadillac, only this time he's dressed like a member of "the rat pack" or James Dean. Taylor is standing outside her 1950s styled house dressed like a preppy girl from the 1950s:
He pulls up to her driveway again, this time in a tuxedo. He's driving this:
Taylor's wearing something like this:
Then right as the first chorus comes crashing in, it shows them dancing at different parties throughout different time periods. So they're dancing like hippies at a party in the woods while dressed in late 60s/early 70s hippie fashion, like at Woodstock:
Then they're doing 'Saturday Night Fever' dance moves at a 'Studio 54' type disco dressed in 70s disco fashion.
Then they're doing the robot at an 80s club where Taylor's wearing denim on denim, bangles and big, teased hair.
Then they're swing dancing at Great Gatsby party in the 20s.
Then they're doing the twist or the jive at a 1950s jukebox/milkshake restaurant, like in Happy Days/Hairspray.
Then they come back from their parties and have a fight (
"I heard that you've been out and about with some other girl") and then for the chorus, it cuts back to them dancing and having fun at their parties.
The whole point of the video would be that Taylor and this guy "never go out of style," even though the fashion, cars, furniture/interior design, architecture, clubs/parties etc. keeps changing.
What would you do?
