Patron Leona Lewis says Hopefield is a "pinnacle" of the community
LEONA Lewis says Hopefield is one of the "pinnacles of the community" and that she "won't stop" until its future is secured.
Speaking to the press for the first time since Hopefield's plight was re-tweeted across the world by a handful of superstars, the X Factor winner this week talked exclusively to the Gazette.
Q: What were your feelings when you first heard about the potential sale of Hopefield's land?
A: Hopefield has been saving animals for almost 30 years.
I believe it is one of the pinnacles of the community.
To even think that it may not be there in the future, is utterly heart-breaking for me, as so many of the animals there would not survive moving to other land because they are too sick.

Sometimes, I am more proud of the lesser known artists to do something really remarkable, like this one. Not many people may know, but at least they're doing something good.
