while there's nothing much going on today, i was thinking about the song titles.
Caught is too vague to be able to speculate, and while Ship To Wreck is a cool title, it's also sort of too ambiguous (though, maybe it's the opposite of a shipwreck, something that just broke, and she's saying she NEEDS to break it).
but i was thinking about Delilah, and it HAS to be about the hebrew delilah from sampson and delilah.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delilah
"Delilah, whom Samson loved, who was his downfall. Her figure, one of several dangerous temptresses in the Hebrew Bible, has become emblematic: "Samson loved Delilah, she betrayed him, and, what is worse, she did it for money."" she's referenced religious and mythological characters quite a few times, and i'm totally expecting it to be the same here. plus, this could so easily be a metaphor for something to do with the fame she's experienced.
as for What Kind Of Man, i think it will be one of or a combination of these three ideas:
(1) in a breakup, "what kind of man" could be so cruel and hurt me like that? that sounds cheesy, but you get the idea
(2) a "what kind of man" deserves me, i'm a terrible woman. she has been very critical of herself in her music so far, especially on Ceremonials, so i'm sure she won't stop on 3
(3) she is growing older and still hasn't been able to settle down, so "what kind of man" is the right man for me? that kind of idea.
just speculating. i love her song titles, always. and if Queen Of Peace is indeed a song title, i'm really curious for that as well
