I can tell you for a fact that he does more harm. First, he stole the spotlight and now every post Grammy article is about how Kanye went up the stage and then a cute line mentioning how he was defending Bey. You could tell by the general silence when Beck was announced that had Kanye not gone up there, the articles would have read "BECK beats BEYONCE, do you agree?" Thereby cajoling people to listen to Bey's album. Right now, it's just articles about Kanye vs. Beck.

I don't even need to get into the observation that people who hate Kanye now hate Beyonce because they consider them a clique and think she supports his actions, dubbing them "Entitled pricks". I mean I work in finance, far away from anything relating to entertainment but my scrum master was telling me today that he's not a fan of Bey/Jay and that he hates Kanye for both award interruptions and that they think they are better than everyone and deserve awards etc.

Surprised to see the amount of people (outside ATRL) who stayed up excited to see 7/11 on Sunday. I still think Take My Hand is a snoozefest and she should have used her slot to perform her own song. The song Take My Hand doesn't really let you go all out vocally. Like there's no climax to it, just lots of faux climaxes - Like when you're made to chew cake and spit it out without swallowing. That's the only way I can describe it right now.

I agree but Beyonce is at the point in her career where she can't stay under the radar. There'll always be articles and dissertations (good and bad) and unfortunately bad press spreads faster. I just think she is on the media too damn much for irrelevant stuff which turns people against her when she could be on the news for her actual day job which is music. Sadly, she refuses to let her music be heard.

I just hope she makes better decisions with managing her next album.
