K-pop isn't all idol based. Epik High is considered Kpop. Just because people are considered non artist if they promote on music shows like Inkigayo they are idols in my book.
As people are getting upset in this thread, lets take a step back. For most of us regulars who are here even when our faves are not promoting Kpop is something we love even if we don't like all the artists. We listen to almost every single release posted in this thread because we enjoy the music and the visuals and the personalities. I know I am personally guilty of oppa's better than yours or unnies better than yours on occasion but I personally never meant to push someone away from the thread by it.
And as for Xalric, we celebrate the impact WG have left on the Kpop industry where we see their influences still in JYP's releases and through MAMAMOO. Just like people should reccognize 1TYM who pretty much were the reason we are allowed today to have BTS, Block B, iKON, GOT7 etc. People would personally enjoy the music more if they knew where their groups came from rather than the new kids coming in and spouting out things like Berry Good slays your faves etc.
