Thanks for the nomination. Don't really consider myself a hater. Fell in love with her back in Our Song / Teardrops days. She was cute and different and the singles were great. Second era was good too, the album overall however was really weak, just like the first one, and she won AOTY for it (the committee is deaf i know). Then she became a little too repetitive with her themes, but 3rd album was a massive improvement apart from a few petty songs like Mean (so cheap and low class). Then came WAKJHJGIKJ and she completely destroyed everything that was good about her: instead of showing artistic growth she became super childish and immature. Her lyrics got worse and so did her sound. Though the era delivered the incredible Red and Begin Again (the rest was garbage including All Too Well). But boy, did she manage to get even worse this era. Shake it Off is literally the worst song I heard last year and 90% of the album is filler garbage. Her lyrics are incredible linear and basic, which was cute when she was 16-17, but now it's just plain embarrassing. Don't really have anything against her (she is 31 on my last fm most played), I just think she is incredibly overrated given her extremely weak voice, inability to dance, lack of stage presence and super basic songwriting.

Thought i'd share my detailed views about her here since you all took your time to nominate me. No hard feelings

Folks need to understand these awards are about giving the Base a shared and fun experience, it is not supposed to be divisive or make people feel un-noticed or underappreciated. Every post has value, apart from those by Gotskill obviously.

I am very surprised to get nominated for Best Dragger ahead of OnlyMan. He keeps getting banned, whereas I have zero WPs! Is this proof of his dragging prowess or mine?
