I was just at a jazz concert last week by an up and coming jazz band and they slayed classical instrumental jazz, all originals.
I understand Tony was never anything special creatively or in any other aspect of his career, but I think Gags could do so much more with her talent than just covers.

Unfortunately, you don't get to tell them what to do. Covers is what did well last time, why dive into all original work if she doesn't to? I mean, she has options. It's not like she's stuck in one city after her last studio failed to push even 500k worldwide or something. She has space to grow. Times not up for her so she's making the best of it!

That's what I think too which is ok. We've already heard they were gonna record more then 1 album and we've seen her in the studio. Even her drum player posted pics from the studio on his IG as well, now I dunno much about music but I doubt he'd be there recording for a jazz record.
