Oh you follow jazz album sales? And I hate to break it to you, but it did have impact. The GP knows about it. My old spanish teacher facebooked me a few days after it was out and told me how great her voice was and how good the album is. And I have receipts honey.

The album is nearing platinum in the USA and is nominated for a Grammy. It has a 64 on Metacritic. Of course they're going to do a follow up.

This doesn't change anything for her pop release, but rather proves that she can multi-task, combining a passion project with her childhood hero along with writing and producing (and not just a tacked on writer's credit ) her next studio effort.

It's a shame she has some of you so mad that a so called "finished flop" has fared better with a Jazz album than some of your faves latest major releases, but like Shakira's hips, the facts don't lie.

I want another jazz album tbh. Musical projects she's passionate about, it fuels her creativity, we'll have a better pop album because of it.

Bring it on! It's all covers, so it won't eat up her time too much. Why not maintain the two markets she's worked hard to break into?

Laughing at the other fan bases being excited because as long as Gaga doesn't do pop, their faves are safe.

At the end of the day, it's good to know all of you are threatened by Gaga's accomplishment's and star power.

Um, I have always liked BTW because it's a high-quality album. I just feel that, IMO, it is her only above-average album in quality. It was a flawless hybrid of 80s pop-rock and electropop yet she somehow made it feel fresh and original. And this is coming from someone who listens almost exclusively to rock and jazz.

i'm so happy she found a new lane she's comfortable staying in. she should really continue this on this jazz path for the rest of her career, this suits her

I agree with you, I love BTW. I think it's her best album, I just mean people used to trash BTW and say it was a flop etc.

Bigger suprise would be: "Pop album is coming"
