At the end of the day, Bey is probably just shifting things because she has a child and has decided to focus on other things. I had my little meltdown lol but it passed now. Beyonce has become bigger than her music and she is doing many other things, she has an empire now and doesn't need to be a slave to gain profits. Her Topshop venture alone will make her 2 times richer in 5 years. She is only doing music because she loves it still but Beyonce has become a brand. Unfortunately when you become that big, you are not as hungry anymore therefore the music is not as raw as it was or could have been. It's a reality we have to face.

I just dont want to be in denial. And no i dont consider Yonce, Partition, XO, Pretty hurts the full potential of Beyonce Giselle Knowles. I'm sorry. I will even go further to say that Beyonce knows that album is nowhere near her full potential at this stage of her career and that's why she is not promoting it. She made good money of it but i dont think it is even near what she wants to do with her talent.

It's a 10/10 it's absolutely nothing wrong with this album at all not a flaw it took her two years and 7 months to fliming to make it . She opened about her life struggles her marriage and her child and her mothers divorce raw as it can get

LOL Jane, there's nothing lacking in Bey's music, she's just exploring a different genre that doesn't necessarily require grunt. You can tell she still has the grunt in the way she sings "Bowwwww down bitchessss".

Not here for Bey's upcoming Grammy performance...sounds like a snoozefest. If she serves her best vocals (Oprah Listen level) ...

The ONRT and TMCS vocals were great but I'm so used to it and tour vocals are always limited for protection.

Some of you must be recent Beyoncé fans. I've been a fan since 1999 and watched Beyoncé work her ass off to impress everyone and make it to the top. DIL, BDAY, and IASF eras Beyoncé worked and promoted more than anyone. During the IASF era, everyone was saying that Bey was overexposed and should take a break. During the IAWT it's obvious, and Beyoncé said herself, that she started feeling like a robot and wasn't driven or inspired anymore. The way she handled 4 and Self-Titled were necessary for her sanity and well being, but also her career. I don't think she would've lasted another ten years in the business if she worked as hard and often as she did during the 00's. Now look, it's already halfway through this decade and she has released two classic albums and is still seen as the most talented performer and best R&B artist. I would love to see her promote more, but I completely understand why she chooses not to kiss ass and give the media what they want. She doesn't have to anymore, as long as she continues to release great art.
