I'm not saying she'd be better, her and Katy are equal performance wise, but there is more reason for her to perform than Katy. She's basically Americas sweetheart right now and is more successful than Katy could ever dream of being. A Super Bowl performance would only supplement an already huge era.
Taylor is more popular as a whole and has Middle America eating out of her hand. It makes perfect sense.
