Pharrell stole more #1 weeks from Katy Perry than Lorde, and Dark Horse was the bigger hit. It should overtake Roar after the Super Bowl since its the more recent song.
For her halftime performance, Perry needs to sing Dark Horse, Firework, California Girls, and Wide Awake, as they would be four strong choices. She would have to slightly rework the lyrics for Hot and Cold, and TGIF if she wants to perform them, as they are a little less family friendly than the four above. Maybe the Teenage Dream title track would work too.
She could sing Roar, but I think it is not as good of a song as the first four I picked, and I think she should maximize what she can get out of the Teenage Dream CD, and get it as far over three million as possible. I think she is around 2,950,000 now. She could get it up to 3,150,000 to 3,200,000 if everything goes right, and weekly sales should remain elevated for a while after the performance.
