Before we get to our top three, we have two more judges to get to. This judge is in his second year judging Top Member, and this year he's certainly been the breakout of this cycle. He's a long time mod, and he always says what's on his mind, please welcome Supa to set the record straight!
Sorry Supa I couldn't find a good enough Missy Gif. to use for you so I went with Miss J

Hey Supa! You've gone from the quiet judge from last season to now causing your controversy this cycle! You were more vocal then usual, were you more comfortable as a judge this cycle?
It's funny, I don't feel like I did anything different this cycle—my goal as a judge has always been to offer honest, constructive feedback. But I certainly got a lot more attention this time around. It was weird to see the thing that I had always thought contestants valued about me suddenly become such a negative.
Now lets get this started, the biggest question we all want to know, why did you dislike iHype and Jax so much?
Do people genuienly believe that? Just because iHype. and Jax complained about me so many times does not mean I have anything against them. I'm still not even sure where they got that impression, aside from a couple of negative critiques—and every contestant has those once in a while. If anything, I feel like I'm the one who should be offended, given how many times they dragged my name up and down this thread for doing my job. But I guess it's easier to play the victim than reflect honestly on your work and its shortcomings.
Did you think being so vocal about your opinion on the members on the contestants was fair to them and their chances?
My role is to be a judge, not a cheerleader. What purpose would it have served to not share my opinions? Given that I was one of the people making those decisions about contestants and their chances, it strikes me as more fair to be transparent. If you know how you're doing, then you can make the necessary adjustment to remain a contender. I certainly can be vocal, but I don't apologize for that, and I would be surprised if it swayed any of the other judges. We all have strong, unique viewpoints.
Now that we're all done with that drama, how did you like this cycle over all? What were you opinions first coming in when you saw the contestants?
This cycle blew me away! I was a bit disappointed when the cast was announced, because several of my favorite applicants did not the final lineup, including my #1 pick. But there were so many exciting contestants who kept raising the bar week after week with hilarious and creative takes on the challenges. Citrus' musicality entry and Vespertine's final speech immediately stick out in my mind. I can't ever forget their fantastic work.
You're a long time member and mod, how do you think the whole newbies vs. veteran thing played out this cycle?
I try to steer clear of the drama. I noticed a bunch of fights in the thread this cycle, but that stuff doesn't interest me. I let contestants' work speak for itself. My philosophy is that anyone could be the next top member, no matter how long they've been on the site. I was a member for four-and-a-half years before I became a moderator, which has to be the longest ascension to that position in ATRL history. If anyone understands that it's a slower burn for some of us than other, it's me.
Do you have plans to return for next cycle to judge? Will you do anything differently?
It's all up to Matty Banks and whether he wants me back. I'm open to feedback on my judging and what I can improve for next time, though. I put the contestants through the wringer this cycle, and I suppose it's only fair that I return the favor.
Is there anything you would like to see change in the formula?
I wish judges had the final say in who gets eliminated. It's all based on points, but the lowest-scoring entry of the week is not always the one that deserves to go home. I would love if we got to cast a vote between the bottom two. Sometimes great contestants have a bad challenge, and we might be able to save them accounting for their strong performance overall.
I also think it's time for some new challenges. While musicality still brings out the best of contestants every time, the quick guide has become rather stale. We have years of build-a-challenges to pull from. Let's get some fresh ideas in there next cycle.
Any final words for Citrus???
Congratulations, tangy one! You were a fabulous contestant this cycle, and your brilliant work has me so excited to see how you'll shake up the forum as a top member.

Sorry to interrupt,
A bigger achievement then this is about to be made. Something once in a lifetime. What turns a rookie into an icon.

If its any consolidation, I watch re-runs of Moesha weekday nights.
Granted I have my headphones in listening to music, but Moesha is on my TV.

Well. What do you call shade when it isn't even subtle anymore? Because the thread is thick with that tonight. Can't say I've ever felt so disliked on ATRL.

Hypey, what will your 100,000th scrobble be? You should make it "Kiss You" by 1D, I've witnessed you whoring that song out before<3

Ew, this show is on E!?
I thot we were on the big-dog networks like FOX, NBC, ABC with Survivor and The Bachelor. Guess it makes sense with the ratings decline over last season, the budget, and the overall quality of the game recently.

I wanted to do 'Paparazzi', but then I thot 'Birthday Cake' since it's my most played song, or a Mariah song since she's my most played artist.
My 99,999th currently happening is 'The Edge of Glory' to go with the moment. I'm so nervous slfg;

Our next contestant and first final 3, was elminated at one point in the cycle but then came back with a vengeance. He handled everything with class and care and was a fan favorite for the entire cycle, lets welcome Marq!

You were eliminated at one point and then brought back to make it all the way to the finale, how does it feel to be where you are?
I still remember the GIF challenge very clearly. I'm not exactly a GIF expert; rarely will you see me using GIFs in my posts. So this was a round that I was worried about from the beginning of the competition, and I knew that I would have some trouble. When the time came, I was completely stumped on what to send in.
I was really glad to have the Comeback situation on my side, and even more glad that I was able to prove to the judges that my return to the competition was well worth it. To have made the finale after being eliminated was amazing, and I was very proud of myself.
You had a bit of a bumpy road as you were always Up n Down.mp3 by Britney Spears during the whole competition but you always showed top member qualities, is there anything you would have done differently?
If I could go back and start all over, I would prepare for and work on my entries for challenges before they were announced. (Take notes, future contestants)
Being a fan of the game for the past few cycles has allowed me to learn about each challenge and how they're played. I had a feel of which challenges I'd have trouble with and which ones I'd be able to excel on with ease. If I had used my time more wisely by brainstorming and finetuning my entries in those rounds that seemed difficult, I probably would have been able to do a lot better in them. Perhaps I could have even had a top callout.
You and Vespertine were probably the biggest surprise, everyone thought iHype and Citrus would be in the finale, what were your thoughts on how everything went down in the end?
It's crazy to think that I made it so far! I didn't realize how much of a chance that I had in this game until I saw that my application was the highest ranked by the judges. It was a COMPLETE surprise and a huge motivational boost that caused me to really take this game as seriously as I could. I put a ton of effort into each entry I sent, and although I had some bumps, the judges were continually impressed by what I had to say. Third place isn't a win, but I'm still proud of what I achieved in the course of the cycle. I wouldn't trade the experience.
Do you feel like you met the expectations of those that had their hopes for you?
I completely exceeded my own hopes and expectations in this competition, and that's what matters most to me. But I hope that anyone who rooted for me feels similarly satisfied.
You were 2nd place a few times almost winning several challenges, how does it feel to be so close but never making it to win (I know how it feels trust me )
It definitely sucks.
There have been moments (specifically avatars and musicality) where I was ultimately proud and confident of my entry (and where the judges universally praised my entry) only to have it come short from the top spot. It was a little discouraging at the time, but I tried not to let it negatively affect how I played. I took every piece of constructive criticism given by the judges and used them to help myself improve not only in the game, but as a member overall.
But to be honest, it would have been nice to have at least one challenge win to my name.
Did you feel like any judges had a bias towards certain contestants?
I don't think there was any clear bias.
BUUUUT, there were a few unexplained instances where I felt that certain players got the short end of the stick. An example of this was iHype's elimination. His thread was far and beyond the biggest hit out of the pool of entries, but somehow he found himself packing to go home. For a challenge titled "Thread Power," it was a little confusing to see.
How do you feel about the whole “Known members vs. unknown” members mantra this cycle kind of had, being a fairly popular member yourself?
First, I wouldn't consider myself a "fairly popular" member. I'm not really sure how I won that public poll, but I wouldn't use that as an indicator of my popularity.
Aside from that, I don't think that the popularity of a user should have any kind of effect on how they are judged. It's ATRL's NEXT Top Member for a reason. If they're capable of making quality entries and if they're willing to grow and actively post on the forum after the game ends, a newer & barely known member should be able to join and fairly compete with more established members. It seems like Matty agrees with me, seeing as he's given quite a few barely known members a fair chance throughout the cycles that he's hosted.
What were your emotions during the finale?
I had a lot of nerves coming into the finale. I wasn't really nervous about what I'd sent in; I knew that I'd given this competition my all and that wherever I ranked, whether it was first, second, or third, I would accept it as a fair decision. But I couldn't help but remain nervous for what was to come.
What is next for you on ATRL? You won the poll do you think you can live on to be The TOP member of this cycle?
I'm just going to continue enjoying myself on the forum and discussing music and other topics with an honest and unbiased approach. If that takes me towards being considered a "top member", then that's great.
As for what I have coming up, you can probably expect some rates/countdowns from me! I haven't hosted one yet, but it's something that I've been interested in doing for a while now. I have one in the works and I'm very excited for it.
How do you think Citrus will be as a top member?
I love Citrus! He's a fun and playful person while also being very friendly and approachable. He played the game so well, and I was happy to see him win the title. I'm certain that he'll continue to establish himself as a top member and I hope that he's proud of his highly deserved victory.
