The soundtrack just went up for pre-order two days ago is what I meant, on which his song is an instant grat track (Ellie's isn't), and its video (which is actually its own video) just came out. It rushed into the Top 10 yesterday on those two factors alone and it's already getting dark red updates. Ellie hasn't in weeks. It's obviously not "hype" behind Ellie's ascension at this point.
I'm not trying to say that Ellie's getting there due to her own starpower but rather that the song is selling itself on the strength of its pretty minimal airplay.
