I was watching the Coldplay concert DVD and I was thinking about how come she has just a few anthemic songs. Raise Your Glass and F***in' Perfect are the only care-free and happy ones that have that special feeling of bringing people together. I love these type of songs, I guess that's why I'm still eager to hear her Under Pressure cover live.

I was listening to FP and RYG yesterday and realized the importance of both songs, especially FP.

Sure, they're cheesy, maybe corny, slightly generic etc etc etc, but it doesn't matter actually. Not for me.

It's honest, it comes from the heart, and P!nk wrote it for us.

I totally agree. RYG could have been a bit better musically but the I could always relate to the lyrics and scream "we will never be never be anything but louuuuuuud". And she really wrote those songs for us, which makes them so special in my heart.

yeah, ryg might be special, but i connect so much more with the songs she selfishly wrote about herself and that are applicable to my own life and experiences, rather than the born this way/firework for the fans type of songs. but i guess that's just me.
