But to be fair, literally 75% of Oscar bait films are pretty much really, really, really well-acted made-for-tv movies:
"Still Alice," "Cake," "12 Years A Slave," "The Hours," "Blue Jasmine," "Dallas Buyers Club," et cetera.
There's a reason why people don't go see Oscar-bait flicks in theaters,
unless it's propaganda about American heroes killing people.

Marion Cotillard is a film legend now. She is now tied with Sophia Loren as a foreign actress in acclaim and awards. If she gets nominated one more time for a foreign role, she will be the most acclaimed foreign actor in history.

With her latest album Partners reaching Platinum certification, Streisand extends her record for the most Platinum album certifications for a woman in RIAA history. Incredibly, Partners is her 31st album to ship more than 1,000,000 copies in the U.S.
Of course for someone with two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Golden Globes, eight competitive Grammys, two special Grammys and a special Tony, this is just another day in the life of Barbra. Still, having 31 albums to reach Platinum status is a nice way to start the week.

I'm kind of torn on Marion Cotillard. She's talented, but she's overrated. And her accent is distracting, but not in a sexy, adorable way like Penélope Cruz. If she wasn't doing "Macbeth" with Michael Fassbender, I would probably tear her apart.

Just seen Palo Alto (Lol yeah I know), I think this is Emma Robert's first decent semi-convincing performance. AND also James Franco's sloppiest performance. Decent movie after, all. I enjoyed it despite the ending, if you can call it that.
