But I can deal with random noises that make melodic or structural sense.
For instance, M.I.A.'s "/\/\ /\ Y /\" was random noises, too, but there was a sense of structure in the chaos. M.I.A.'s follow up, "Matangi," however was just a bunch of sounds put into a blender and thrown onto a record. "Biophilia" felt somewhat similar. If there is structure in "Vulnicura," I can, at the very least, appreciate it, perhaps even enjoy the record.
However, if "Vulnicura" is a series of unfortunate sonic events, then it's going to be another hard listen.
