Here Jealous feels bigger than Blank Space, my local Pop station hardly played it (they were still playing Shake It Off) and now they've already moved on to Style.
This isn't a "feel" chart but a number's chart. Mediabase official press release this morning had Jealous at #1, so it should be #1.

The song was well received. It garnered a lot of buzz everywhere. Top 10 on Hot 100 for two months. It has 140M+ AI. Just because some ATRL users didn't think it was "as big" as some smashes, it doesn't mean people don't know it. It has sold 1.5M so far (cause it's still selling 70k weekly) for a reason.

It's sad that you think that someone disagreeing with you means that person is "fuming".

I still feel your point of view feels disconnected to what happened. You should compare Jealous to hits like Animals/Maps or Love Me Harder, not Uptown Funk or Blank Space, that's why it feels like a non-event to you.

At the end of the day, Nick has a #1 on Pop and a hit on his hands. My opinion (or yours) won't change that. Anyway, hope you have a nice day (or night). I'm not mad, it was just a simple coversation for me. I hope you're not mad either.

I am an impressions person, but please give credit where credit is due. Nick Jonas' "Jealous" had the most spins at the end of the tracking week at the format, where he had slowly gained on Swift in spins for several days, so he earned the #1 Most Played Top 40 Song on Mediabase for the week.

Because bigger stations still are spinning "Blank Space" harder, Swift maintains an audience lead of about 10 million impressions, giving her the #1 Most Heard Top 40 Song on Mediabase for the week. As for how close Jonas came to overtaking Swift in spins on Billboard, someone would need to check that out, as it is possible by tomorrow "Jealous" could overtake "Blank Space" on Billboard's detections-based Top 40 Radio Chart too..

I get an email with the Country Airplay Chart Details on Monday and other Country Chart Details on Thursday from Billboard (I swear I would just about volunteer to put together the chart information part for a similar Rock email twice a week for free, as I want to promote that format too!). However, I get every email Billboard (and All Access as well ) sends, and the only email that is tailored toward just one format is Country.

Literally who cares if Jealous "feels" big to you or not. Ultimately I don't care whether it snatches #1 on pop radio or not, because that says nothing about how big the song is overall. It's a mediocre hit overall.

The fact is that it's currently #20 on iTunes. It's getting really old seeing radio push these songs to the top 5 (I'm looking at you too, LMH) when their reception with the public doesn't warrant it.

But you have to admit that streaming is slowly taking over digital sales; those songs are still top ten on the OnDemand Songs chart, so the public is still here for them. This isn't a case where the song is #1 on radio but nowhere to be found in either th top ten/twenty on either sales/streaming charts (and there's been plenty of those in recent memories).
