Zendaya at BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards
WORD COUNT: 1085
Earlier this week, BMI confirmed a date for their annual BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, and along with announcement of the date, they also put out a nominationts list and performers list as well. The announcement and everything seemed to be a little bit rushed, but since this is not fan-voted award show, then there's no use to wait for few more months. A lot of huge R&B and Hip-Hop acts like Chris Brown, Jeremih, Lil Wayne and others were confirmed to perform at the show, including the newest R&B Princess Zendaya Coleman, who just released her brand new single called Broke a Heart or Two, which serves as her sophomore album's second single and a follow up single to the lead single Gunshots that went number one back in June thanks to Zendaya's good friend Taylor Swift who is also featured on Gunshots. Besides getting a chance to perform on the stage during the awards ceremony, Zendaya also received two nominations, including Best Female R&B Song for Gunshots, and Best Female R&B Artist as well. On the red carpet, Zendaya basically slayed everyone and everything once she stepped in the spotlight. She was wearing a custom made outfit that was somewhat inspired by soldiers, but it looked really original, unique and really sexy, despite being inspired by war attributes and soldier's uniforms. For her appearance at the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, Zendaya wore a long flowing textured high waisted gray skirt with a matching olive coloured bandeu, and put on a militar hat as well. Also, she decided to go deeper with this military type of outfit as she threw on some bright yellow accessories, and, obviously, bright yellow skyscraper high heels that completed this whole military goddess type of look. For the make up, R&B Princess decided to do something more bold and bright, as she rocked mesh yellow eyeshadow with black eyeliner and dark plum lipstick. She was definitely one to watch during this awards show, because she was definitely bright, tall, and glowing, like a true star of the night should look like. Zendaya stopped a bit on the red carpet by the interviewers and media reporters, and answered their questions. She talked about her brand new single Broke a Heart or Two, her outfit, and her new music: "Oh, it's definitely a huge night for me, because this is my official comeback in the music industry. Not only I'm nominated for two awards this year, but I'm also performing Broke a Heart or Two, which is my brand new single, for the first time live, so that's understandable. It feels great to be back, I'm really confident with my new songs and material, and I'm happy to finally unleash the things that I've been working on for quite some time now. My music this time is definitely R&B, with some Pop and Hip-Hop influences here and there, but it's mainly R&B, more laid back and chill, like... Aaliyah's music, or let's say Tinashe's. Well, less Tinashe, more Jhene Aiko, I guess. I'm just not really interested in charting anymore, I want to create the music that I personally enjoy and like, so I'm not really trying to step into that frame anymore when you have to release only Top 40 songs in order to chart or succeed. I'm in a position right now when I can just release the music that I feel I want to release, and I don't have to care about the charts. If I succeed, then I'm going to be really happy, but if I don't, then I'm just going to be happy that my music that I enjoy writing and recording is out there. Either way, I still win." Not only it was a huge night for Zendaya because of her bold fashion statement on the red carpet, but it was also really important for her because she was nominated for even two awards, including Best Female R&B Song and Best Female R&B Artist, and also, she debuted her brand new single Broke a Heart or Two for the first time ever live as she performed her song on the stage.
The performance of Zendaya's brand new single was simply breathtaking as it was so simplistic but yet so perfect. The thing is that Zendaya always manages to create something so big basically out of nothing. The performance of her brand new single started with all the lights going out, except one spotlight that was right on this tall chair that was placed in the middle of the stage. Then, Zendaya walked down to the chair and just sat on it, holding a microphone in her hand. She was wearing the same outfit that she wore on red carpet, but it looked especially nice and good in the spotlight with all the light falling on her textured skirt, and it looked like some kind of prism or whatever, but it was spectacular. Then, the instrumental started playing out of nowhere and Zendaya just performed the whole song while sitting on a chair. It may seem as it she was lazy to do a bigger type of performance, but the simplicity of Broke a Heart or Two song and the simplicity that Zendaya served on the stage was actually really inspiring and something that you barely see these days. Artists tend to get basically every dancer they can find in United States with them on stage, they tend to get every single decoration or whatever, and Zendaya just came out on stage, all vulnerable and emotionally naked, as she just sat down on the chair and dindn't distract the audience with useless dancer or extra show, but she let everyone to see the real her and the way she is right now - heartbroken, vulnerable but strong and inspiring at the same time. It's quite not ofthen when you can see that type of performance, which focuses more on the voice, on the emotions, vulnerability and showing a real side of you, a side that could somehow inspire young people and help them go through in life. That is exactly what Zendaya is trying to achieve with her brand new mid-tempo R&B ballad Broke a Heart or Two, which was produced by hitmaking team RoccStar and Hit-Boy himself. Later during the show, Zendaya got on stage three more times, as she presented the award for Best New Artist and also walked on stage to accept her awards for both Best Female R&B Artist and Best Female R&B Song.

NATALIA KILLS INVITED TO WHITE HOUSE. PERFORMS “EYES SHUT”, “WOUNDED FIST” AND “COVEN de COUTURE” WHILE TALKING ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. MICHELLE OBAMA MOVED TO TEARS.
801 words

Singer-songwriter, mother, model, stylist, activist, and business woman Natalia Kills was invited exclusively to the White House for a presidential performance which was to be broadcast through out the nation and livestreamed on Youtube. The performance was in celebration of domestic violence awareness week and Natalia Kills was called to perform as the headliner of the event. In attendance was the president, his family, the vice president, members of congress and a host of other big names in politics and business.
Natalia dressed very formally wearing a black suit and business trousers. She looked elegant yet she commanded attention and exuded a lot of power.
Once her queue was up, Natalia went to the stage and she gave an introductory speech:
“Since the release of my new single, Eyes Shut, so much has happened. A lot of women are coming out of their shells to tell their story and find help. My website against domestic violence has had a massive number of sign ups, views, and entries and people from all over the world and finding their voice through this song. Whoever says that music is not powerful is simply just not educated enough because I believe that music is a universal language and it touches so many people at the same time, giving them hope, a shared interest…something that they can call theirs. They get into groups and form little families…they give themselves names….stan, army, navy, they do this for recognition and just the mere thought that somebody, even just one person that calls themselves a fan of mine is facing domestic violence at home….it’s scary and I just knew I had to say something about it. That is why this song was written and I’m grateful for the response it has gotten and how you have all accepted it with open arms. Thank you so much! So without any further delay, this song is titled “Eyes Shut””.
Natalia performed Eyes Shut standing in front of a microphone and just singing her heart out. She hit every note and did every adlib, vocal run through, and melody perfectly. The execution of the music was both beautiful and powerful and Michelle Obama, the president’s wife was moved to tears.
“Aaaawwww, Madam Michelle is crying. Thank you so much for that response and thank you all for giving me the opportunity to just create music and do what I do. There’s a second part to Eyes Shut which I’m sure you are all familiar with. It’s called “Wounded Fist” and it goes hand in hand with Eyes Shut. I’ll be singing it this afternoon. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Wounded Fist.”
Natalia moved on to perform Wounded Fist in like manner as she did Eyes Shut. She closed her eyes at some points during the performance to feel the music and she swayed in time with the music. She also put in some hand gestures in time with the music and gave the audience such vocal prowess that after the rendition, they gave her a standing ovasion.
“Thank you once again for that response, you truly are an amazing audience. To tell the truth, I was extremely nervous to get on stage today because of the amount of power in this room but you have made me feel really welcome and I’m very grateful for it. This is the final song of the day but before I sing it, I want to thank everybody that has given a speech or motivated you all against domestic violence this afternoon. It’s amazing that as a country, we can all come together like this and just unite against something so terrible. I’m very appreciative of it. This final song is a song that you all, people watching at home, anybody that bought it in this room…you made it a top 5 HIT and you all have gone out and bought over 1,000,000 copies of this record. Let me say that I don’t take any of this for granted and I’m very appreciative of your love and support. Ladies and gentlemen, get on your feet…this song is called “Coven de Couture”.”
Natalia sang Coven de Couture with a lot of hip shaking, head nodding, and strutting. It was sexy yet elegant and appropriate for the viewers.
Natalia waved goodbye to the audience after the performance and they all stood for an ovation that went on till Natalia left the stage and beyond.
Critics call Natalia “one of a kind” and “the saving grace for pop music”.
Natalia Kills’ smash album “The Definition of Bad” is in stores now and features smash hit, “Coven de Couture”, “Eyes Shut”, “Whirlwind”, and “Wounded Fist”

NATALIA ANNOUNCED AS CURATOR FOR NEXT HUNGER GAMES MOVIE + INCLUDES EYES SHUT ON SOUNDTRACK. CURATING IN PROGRESS
542 words

With a successful album and single out and Natalia Kills’ ability to make mind blowing music…she has been called upon by the producers of the Hunger Games movies and offered the job to be curator for upcoming Hunger Games movie.
The movie Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 was a blockbuster and box office hit and producers of the movie said that they needed that kind of magic again, the magic that New Zealand artiste Lorde gave to the first project. Names were passed across the board and ultimately Natalia Kills was picked to be the next curator for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
Upon hearing the news, insiders say that Natalia Kills ran across her bedroom and even did a cartwheel or two before slowing down to think of the responsibilities it comes with.
Also, insiders say that producers of the movie INSISTED that Eyes Shut, Natalia’s second single off her sophomore album “The Definition of Bad” be included on the soundtrack. The song which has brought a lot of recognition from Kills on a more political level producers say is perfect for the kind of story the Hunger Games franchise is telling. A story of love, betrayal, government, and all that the movie entails also seems to be embodied in the music and has already been registered and confirmed to appear on the soundtrack.
The soundtrack is said to be released sometime in the year and sources say that Natalia is currently in the process of picking artistes, writing music, and writing a soundtrack for the record. Meanwhile, Kills is currently embarking on her “The Definition of Bad” Stadium World Tour which has sold out for a second week.
Miss Kills seems to be everywhere lately.
The second song to be included on the soundtrack will be a song called “Blindfold Me” which features Marina & The Diamonds
Quote:
Blindfold Me
Natalia Kills +
Marina & The Diamonds
From The Mockingjay: Part 2 Soundtrack
Length: 3:47
Genre: Alt. Pop
Writers: M. Diamandis, N. Kills, & L. Grant
Producer: Cashmere Cat
[Marina]
I had a feeling when I met you
Didn't think you had it in you
I smell a little bit of danger
And got my heart handcuffed to a stranger
I am a fool to not cut the ties
That bind the eyes that loved you
[Natalia]
Blindfold me
[Natalia]
My mother says, run as fast as you can
Narrow roads lead to narrow minded men
My skin is sizzling, it might have been you
But you were busy walking in your daddy's shoes
Love is cruel
When you realize what you give got life
To someone who has given up on you
[Marina]
Blindfold me
[Natalia]
I'll fake it and say I think a lot of you
Regardless of what you did
And what I didn't do
[Marina]
Jealousy made you want to own me
And that was what left us both a little lonely
[Marina & Natalia]
I'm smart, I'm dumb,
I am rich, I am poor
I am fat, I am thin
This type of love don't wanna win
[Natalia]
Nobody's gonna blindfold me
[Marina]
Blindfold me
Blindfold me

Azealia on Ellen
Promoting the newest single off of her latest album The Dying Stars, Azealia Banks went on Ellen Degeneres' talk show where she performed the latest single Fly featuring Childish Gambino. While on the show, Azealia performed Fly and along with the performance, Azealia gave an interview where she talked about the background of Fly, the background of The Dying Stars, and why she chose to release Fly as a single above other songs. All the above and even more was discussed by Azealia Banks during her interview on Ellen's show. Azealia's performance and interview on Ellen were both uploaded onto Ellen's YouTube channel account where they've both garnered a great bit of attention and reached millions of views in total. When asked about her performance and appearance on Ellen by the paparazzi, Azealia said the following "I am so happy to appear on Ellen's program. I can't wait to show what I can do to all of Ellen's viewers and really get to show off all my talents and speak about my favorite thing, my music. I think this will be a great way for everyone to figure out and learn more about me, who I am, and what I do in the industry. My performance has been rehearsed and trained day and night to make sure everything I do is perfect. I really do not want to disappoint me fans as I need this to truly be something extraordinary and something else."
During the performance on Ellen, Azealia was seen wearing all white. She had a white bra and white yoga pants on. Her hair was slicked back and long black. The entire ensemble which Azealia wore was designed by Givenchy and Azealia made sure to give the outfit all its full potential. There were dancers, four of them, that accompanied Azealia on stage during the performance. Three guys and three girls. The girls wore outfits like Azealia except had their hair in pony tails. The guys were all shirtless and had long baggy white pants. Azealia's makeup was very simplistic during this performance, only wearing clear lip gloss and eyeliner, making sure to make the performance surround the dance moves not the look. The stage had dozens of 6 foot tall white rotating fans behind Azealia and the dancers. The stage was slicked wood perfect for Azealia's dance moves. Childish Gambino was not present during this performance. At the beginning of the performance, Azealia had her hands in prayer position at her stomach and she had a white head mic attached to her. She began to walk forward as the four dancers were bent over in a square formation behind her. Azealia walked to the front of the stage as a symphonic sound of violins and piano played. Azealia then began to sing and the instrumental played. She moved her arms and the dancers began to rise from their crouched down position to begin dancing and moving to beat of the music. Azealia danced without missing a beat and at the end of the performance of Fly, Azealia ended with a fist in the air. A series of commercials advertising both Fly and The Dying Stars then aired during the break.
Once the commercial break had ended, Azealia sat down to be interviewed by Ellen. When Azealia was first asked about why she released Fly as a single she said "My fans need more hip hop. I've felt like I've abandoned them as a whole and I don't need them to feel that way considering they mean so much to me, each and every one of them. I need them to know I love them because i do" When asked about The Dying Stars Azealia said "I am so excited about the release of my album. It's been going so great and I'm overly elated with the success of it. Hopefully this will continue and I'll be able to release more singles off of the album later on." Azealia was later on asked about the music video which she said "I plan to do a big reveal of the music video for Fly later on this week. I'll debut it on VEVO and you'll definitely know when! Be sure to keep checking in on me and my news!" After the interview, Azealia and Ellen hugged. Be sure to buy Fly and The Dying Stars today.

NATALIA KILLS BECOMES FORBES’ WOMAN OF THE YEAR
666 words

Natalia Kills has been having a career that is going nowhere but up. With a platinum single, platinum album, and a host of endorsement deals and fashion line, Natalia Kills is really breaking bank and getting top money in business.
With the recent contract she signed with the producers of the Hunger Games franchise and a stadium world tour that has sold out it’s announced 2 weeks shows, Natalia is by far the newest act making such money in such an amount of time and of course Forbes Magazine had to call her “The Woman of The Year”.
THE WOMAN OF THE YEAR – NATALIA KILLS
If you do not know her by now, you must be living under a rock. Signed under VDK Records, Natalia Kills (real name Natalia Cappucini) is the first and only artiste signed under VDK Records. She has released 2 albums in the last 2 years and has broken bank especially with her latest album “The Definition of Bad” which sold over a million copies in just 2 weeks. In addition to that, Natalia’s single “Coven de Couture” also sold over 1 million copies in its three weeks of release and Natalia is en route to getting her latest single “Eyes Shut” past the 1 Million mark again in the upcoming week.
Aside from her personal musical career in terms of what she does in the studio, Natalia is a massive touring force. After opening for Taylor Swift on some of her shows in 2013, Natalia Kills garnered fans from across the world and was instantly able to host an arena tour for herself. Fast forward to 2 years later and Natalia is playing stadium shows on her latest “The Definition of Bad” World tour. Natalia is expected to make a minimum of $18,000,000 for every show that she performs on this tour meaning that in 2 weeks, Natalia Kills may be earning up to $216,000,000…talk about cashing in!
Aside from her musical career, Natalia Kills is also owner of acclaimed and popular fashion line “Natalia Kills | Steal Her Style”, a collaborative fashion line she owns with Steal Her Style company. Since it’s launch 2 weeks ago, Natalia’s fashion line has grossed in over $35,000,000 in sales and at the moment, the prices and clients are going nowhere but up.
Talk about endorsement deals. Natalia Kills is the face of Chanel, the high end brand that specializes in women’s clothes and accessories. Natalia Kills signed a deal with Chanel last week worth over $5,500,000. Also in the spirit of fashion, Natalia Kills has modeled for a number of companies…from Vera Wang to Louis Vuitton to Prada, she has modeled from the crème de la crème of the fashion world and has garnered a whooping $12,000,000 from modelling alone.
Step into the world of television, DVDs and movies…Natalia Kills released a DVD for her “Ko-Motion Tour” titled the “Ko-Motion World Tour DVD” which has shipped over 2,000,000 units so far giving Natalia Kills $60,000,000 in terms of DVD sales (every DVD costs $30). Natalia Kills also appeared in 2 Broke Girls, had her song covered on Glee, and featured in Ed Sheeran’s One Music Video. All of this put together gave Natalia $2,000,000. Natalia Kills also recently signed a deal with the creators of the Hunger Games Movies to create the soundtrack of the album worth a whooping $2,500,000
For an artiste that has only 2 albums out and is still relatively new to this business, Natalia Kills is breaking serious bank and cashing in like nothing. No wonder VDK has only her signed…she’s bringing so much money to that label and that is why here at Forbes, we have named Natalia Kills our woman of the year.
From our calculations right now, and if you did calculations at home of the estimate Natalia Kills has made from the above, it is:
$424,000,000.
Give it up for Natalia Kills, our woman of the year!

TAYLOR SWIFT X VH1 TOP 20 VIDEO COUNTDOWN
708
Taylor Swift visited VH1’s Top 20 Video Countdown this weekend, where the singer-songwriter would join the host for an interview and a quick acoustic performance of her tenth and brand new number one single ‘Too Good To Lose’, which has made history for the singer. She’d come on the program in a pair of shades and in a black dress, serving a American Horror Story Coven tea with her attire but serving sunshine with her vibrant personality and optimism. She was congratulated on her number one and also chatted some about her next single and what it was going to be. After much talk and buzz about what it would be, the singer songwriter finally broke the silence confirming the single to be what many thought was not going to be the third single off the record. It’s untold whether or not the single will be out next week or the one following. Taylor would also talk about some of her favorite music out right now, including videos and such that were on the countdown. Other than that, the singer basically talked about her personal life and such and the second week of promotion for her the single ‘Too good To Lose’
“How are you feeling today, Taylor? It’s a lovely frigid day in New York City, but you’re looking absolutely incredible and full of joy.” The singer dressed in all black would give a slight hand gesture, giving a laugh. “I’m doing absolutely amazing. I’ve had the past few days off. I went to Vancouver Island and relaxed in my estate there with some friends and my lover and stuff. It’s amazing.” The host would then ask her what she’s doing in New York. “I’m in New York to visit some friends and do some quick business meetings for my label. I just finished visiting Emma Roberts and her boyfriend so yeah. I’m here for some quick little promotion too if you can’t tell.” The singer would then talk about her album, ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’, which has become a massive success for the singer, scoring platinum this week with another seven hundred thousand copies sold, making it her fastest selling album to date and best selling album to date.
“The success of the album has been really amazing and shocking. I never really expected it to sell that much first week nothing less sell sales that were close to the first week in it’s second. I mean a four percent decrease second week? That’s unbelievable? I can’t believe it. I’m astonished by it all. The fans are really showing out for the record and that’s pretty damn great.” The next thing that the guy, Jim, I think, would ask was if she had a personal favorite on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown right now. “I really like the Lena song. I don’t know if she’s on it here but I really like that video. I can’t wait for you guys to see Zendaya’s video for her new single. She showed me it. It’s amazing. I hope you guys like ti as much as I do.” The next thing the singer would talk about is her next single off ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’. “The next single off the record is a cover like I said. But It’s not the song that many thought I was going to release. A lot of people wanted me to cover ‘Hold On’ because I covered it with Emily on tour and she sort’ve teased that it was going to be a single with her on it too. That’s true and is going to happen but the single is Seven Wonders. I’ve already filmed the video for it on a beautiful set in New Orleans. It’s very Coven inspired in it’s scenery and such. It’s really visual and I think it’s really going to give justice to the song. To the masterpiece Stevie created.”
Taylor would then perform ‘Too Good To Lose’ acoustic, performing in a studio the two would travel to across the street for it. She’d then close out the program by introducing ‘Style’ as the number one video, since Too Good Too Lose is not eligible to chart until next week’s chart.

TAYLOR SWIFT X VH1 BIG MORNING BUZZ
780
Taylor Swift scored her tenth number one single this week, furthering her history as the female with the most number one singles of all time. The singer songwriter has tallied ten in total, two in just this month, repeating the history she managed to do back in July and August of 2014, when she scored three number one singles in the span of thirty one days, those singles were ‘Cathedrals’, ‘Loverboy’, and her biggest first week sales to date for a song, ‘Gunshots’, which featured Zendaya, a friend and fellow artist of Taylor who’s released her brand new single ‘Broke A Heart or Two’, a song Taylor tweeted mass support for, linking fans to it’s page on iTunes so they can purchase it. “It’s an amazing song. I remember the day she invited in the studio and asked me to help her choose the lead single off the record. Correction, second, I think she’s considering ‘Gunshots’ the first single still. But yeah, she asked me to help her choose the second single off the record. She played me this song, two other ones, and this one that I loved almost as much as I loved ‘Broke a Heart or Two’. As soon as I heard her talk about the song and what it meant to her, I told her right away she had to make it the single. It had to be a single at some point. With this track, like she did with Gunshots, she left her her heart in the song. She opened up and really let everyone in on what she was seeing and feeling during this time. That’s the thing with Zendaya. Everything she does, she gives it one hundred and plus percent. I think that’s why we’re such good friends and amazing artists. She’s just absolutely breath taking and phenomenal.”
In her interview with VH1 Big Morning Buzz, the singer talked about her next single which she confirmed in an interview on the fellow VH1 show, Vh1’s Top 20 Video Countdown, would be none other than the Stevie Nick’s classic, ‘Seven Wonders’. The singer talked about the song with Nick Lachey, who was the host and interviewed her.. “The song is a masterpiece really and when I first heard it a long long time ago I sort’ve had this connection with it. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s so haunting, sad, yet full of wonder and beauty at the same time. I never truly knew what it was about the song that made me so addicted and obsessed with it. It’s not its lyrics more than it is it’s melody, it’s production. It’s just a song that would define my life in more ways than one. I remember watching American Horror Story Coven and hearing it. I was like “This is so damn cool.” Ever since then I sort’ve had this promise I made to myself that I’d cover it at some point in my career. Covering Stevie Nicks officially is a huge risk but I’m hoping it pays off because I really love the song. It means a lot to me.”
The singer would address one final thing and that would be the rumor that she was going strictly country after the greatest hits record. Taylor would laugh, sparking a response from Nick Lachey. “Oh come on, you have to let us know what’s going on with the next record and it’s sound. We’re all anticipating it.” Taylor would laugh, shaking her head once more. “I just released a greatest hits with basically an entire new record attached to it…. but I’ll tell you. Damn.” It was all out of humor as Taylor would then proceed to talk about the new record. “I’m not necessarily going country with the next record. I’ve recorded a whole album that can’t be classified as pop and is the farthest thing from country already. It’s a real late 80s type of Indie record if that makes sense. It’s pop but I don’t really think it can be classified as pop. But the newest stuff I’m recording, it’s far more Alternative with a little bit of a pop rock influence in there. It’s very Fleetwood Mac’ish and Pat Benatar type of stuff. It’s a really new sound for me which I think people will really dig. Especially the country fans who really miss me. It’s not country but it’s close enough. Country music’s state of being right now isn’t my favorite so I don’t really want to delve into that over there so.”
Talyor would then perform ‘Too Good To Lose’ on the program before waving off, taking pictures and stuff with fans on the way out and outside the studio.

Over the past two weeks, Clare has been slowly, but surely, cracking her way into the CAL Industry. With "Black Roses" climbing from #21 to #15, experiencing a nice incline in sales- the song has already began to collect momentum. And with the song rapidly rising on iTunes thanks to the EMMYs performance, early predictions show Clare is capable of exceeding 100.000 sales this week. In addition, radio has also been supporting the song- as it is now breaking into multiple formats such as Pop & HAC, besides its already heatseeking Country spins. What was missing to the mix was more television support, but not just a one-and-done performance.
Earlier last week, Revolution Records prepped up Clare and geared her with MTV to collaborate on some new promotion ideas. One to come out of it would be a series of its coveted 'MTV News' clips, which is just appearing on screens starting today. About six different clips would be played- one an hour- rotating, so each clip would be played four times a day on MTV and its other branches (MTV U, MTV Hits, etc.). This would cause millions of viewers to take a glimpse of the up-and-coming star, and see just where she may be coming from.
Clip One features Clare responding to a question about Nashville with- "I play Scarlett O'Connor on the show, a young poet-waitress who ends up creating music with her friend, Gunnar Scott, and gets a record deal. Even though she's great, her insecurities cause a little breakdown on stage, and she returns to the waitress she was. With the support of Gunnar, and many other friends- Clare ends up getting back into music, which'll be interesting to see on this next season. And I've actually worked with Sam Palladio, who plays Gunnar Scott, as well as Charles Esten and Connie Britton on my album- it'll be great." Clip Two shows Clare responding to the question about growing up in Australia- "I've actually grown in Australia, with my family- it's a really beautiful place actually. We lived in the southwest, where it was more remote and forest-y. It definitely has a role in my music, where there's a lot of broad, and endless feeling to it- but still having this emotion and foundation. I could definitely see myself walking in the neighborhood and playing the album on a nice, cool day." Clip Three is based on Clare explaining the video for the single- "The video for 'Black Roses' is actually quite intense, but very simplistic and composed at the same time. It's that moment before the champagne bottle will have its cork popped. You definitely may be on the verge of crying, but the ending and the purpose of it will definitely put you at ease. Basically, we can feel passionate, and in a way of hurt about many things in life... but at the end of the day, the past is a part of who we are and sometimes it's worth embracing." Clip Four showed Clare Bowen discussing her album plans- "On the album... there's a lot of range and diversity with the sound, which is probably my favorite thing about it. I'd definitely like to have a wide range of singles, but not too many. You'll have a song like '1492' which is flute-driven, then 'Ghost' which goes more Rock and hard into the chorus, then the soft 'Black Roses'. There's so many options for singles on this album, so many though!" Clip Five features Clare, and guest Sam Palladio shutting down rumors- "No! We are not dating by the way! Both of us are in a committed relationship, so yeah." / "I do love Clare though... who doesn't?" And lastly, Clip Six features an exclusive peek of the "Black Roses" video with Clare introducing it. The teaser is about ten seconds long, which shows Clare walking down a dark city road in the pouring rain, on the edge of her sanity- with bloodshot eyes and her wet hair flipping everywhere and her flailing her arms while lipsyncing her pain away. Many viewers seemed to appreciate the clips as "Black Roses" continued its incline in sales, radio and streams- as well as a boost in its incline on internet searches.
The single is available right now, and her self-titled debut drops on February 1st.

We're in the 4th week and still no CALMAs or any award of any kind.
Also, when/how do we know who gets to perform at the Super Bowl

SURPRISE RELEASE: 'INFINITY'

At midnight, iconic Electronic-Rap Queen M.I.A. surprise-released her fifth LP, Infinity, to all music retailers. With no warning, M.I.A. took over iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, YouTube- and many other markets. The album only holds one fifteen-track edition, with a deluxe / alternate version rumored to approach very soon. The album is described as one of M.I.A.'s most "bold, gravitating" albums to date. The visuals given on the covers and booklet feature a cyberspace, futuristic theme which M.I.A. scratched the surface at with her third LP, Maya, but went with a more colorful, mind-bending approach; far more in-depth in contrast from the third LP. It is out for purchase and stream.

'INFINITY'
iTUNES TAKEOVER
Upon the surprise-release of her fifth LP, Infinity, M.I.A. & Revolution Records pulled a true Beyoncé. With the album just dropping today, M.I.A. fans have been in an absolute uproar over the fact that M.I.A. delivered what many hardcore stans believe is her "best album yet". And in typical Beyoncé / surprise-release fashion, an iTunes takeover was a part of the plan. Revolution Records inked a twenty million dollar deal with iTunes to snatch the entire top half of the iTunes homepage for the remainder of the week- in every country that iTunes is available in. With this massive exposure, Infinity has skyrocketed and caused havoc on the Albums chart in all of the countries- at least cutting the Top Ten in ninety percent of them. Rumors are that the Infinity era will be M.I.A.'s first where she strives for mainstream / commercial success. But with the quality / timeless traits of the album- there is no questioning on why. M.I.A. would take over every single banner on the homepage, Electronic page, Pop page and Alternative page- as well as every single album in the 'New Music' section on the homepage and in the Electronic section. Three of her songs- "Generally Speaking", "Due Time" & "Eureka" have also been registered under the 'Hot Tracks' section, giving M.I.A. and her album release a complete edge, and giving it a significant push in order to make the whole campaign a musical event. Revolution Records commented on the matter - "With the release of Infinity, M.I.A. is going for a universal, massive musical event. This is definitely not your typical album release- Infinity is definitely a very unique, and great album- probably M.I.A.'s best work to-date. [...] She's aiming for universal success and acclaim. This era will be her most looked-upon and most impactful yet." And of course by "looked-upon", much promotion and exposure to the general public is necessary and critical in this album campaign. In addition to iTunes, Google Play & Amazon have also been taken over and have M.I.A. blasting the release of Infinity. A single and more promotion shall be on the way quite soon.

M.I.A.
GOOD MORNING AMERICA
Upon the release of her album Infinity, M.I.A. stopped by Good Morning America to promote the massive release. The Infinity release marks a new landmark in her career, as M.I.A. completely took the hell over digital retailers as promotion for the album digitally. And with that, comes television and internet promotion. M.I.A., in coordination with Revolution Records, have penned and booked many shows this week to elevate the album release as sky-high as possible. With the album already charting in the Top Ten in over eighty countries, M.I.A. could possibly outsell all of her albums’ sales in just a week or two, already making it her biggest success commercially. And with critics responding to some of the tracks (“Due Time” & “Generally Speaking” & “Eureka”) with overwhelming positivity- many of the tracks could eventually evolve into singles and storm radio- like some stations across the world have been already doing so in playing the album. The album, already ten hours into its release, has been a digital extravaganza, although M.I.A. is quite unknown to the general public of today’s younger demographic.
She rolled up to the studios of Good Morning America in a cyberspace limousine, which attracted much attention to the people of New York City and was captured by the cameras beautifully. She stepped out wearing Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, with her makeup on-point and bold red lips. Her hair was straight, short, and down which was giving absolute life. She wore a black pantsuit with a black-and-white striped cape-suit-jacket above it. Her nails were inspired by “Photoshop”, she claimed later on in the interview- as she had tons of nail art and graphic designs on the actual nails. She looked like a sophisticated, edgy, bold brilliance as she made her way to the studios. On the way in, she signed many autographs and took many photos with fans. And on camera, before getting ready to start the interview, a cannon in the studio blasted out three thousand plush boxes with a physical copy of Infinity all over the Manhattan streets- to which many fans were extremely grateful for. Then the interview began.
Robin /// “Good Morning America- M.I.A. is in the studio with us today.”
M.I.A. /// “Good morning.”
Robin /// “So today marks the day that you have dropped your fifth album, Infinity- talk about that.”
M.I.A. /// “I released my fourth album, Matangi with Interscope / Universal back at the end of 2013. That album had been in the making, and in the vault for many, many months-"
Robin /// “So you left Interscope?”
M.I.A. /// “It was a joint deal with Roc Nation involved too- I just left. Things were getting quite ridiculous, and I was over it.”
Robin /// “When did Revolution Records and Infinity come along?”
M.I.A. /// “I had been drawing up this concept of cyberspace… time… life on Earth and branching out into so many other things- for quite some time- even before the release of Matangi. Revolution Records had signed me in 2014, and I’ve been working on the album since.”
Robin /// “Now you’ve touched upon the concept and feel of cyberspace with your third album, Maya. Is Infinity a progression of Maya, or is it its own world?”
M.I.A. /// “In some ways, it’s a progression of Maya- “Eureka” is even quite reminiscent of Arular and Kala, my other two albums actually. There are many elements that… I’d definitely consider some type of tribute, or throwback, or progression of- but the album mainly consists of newly-constructed material.”
Robin /// “The artwork of the album is very, very interesting. Now I know you’ve always been a visual artist-“
M.I.A. /// “Yes.”
Robin /// “How was the process of thinking, creating, then choosing the visuals put into this project?”
M.I.A. /// “I wanted to do something that was… a step forward, the next page of Matangi, but still a part of the same book- kinda like the artwork of Arular, then Kala. I definitely wanted something… that would catch the eye, but not in an illusion / too in-depth cover like Matangi. If you tilt the screen you’re viewing the cover on, up-and-down, you’ll notice the cover go from this glowing, effected picture- to a raw one- which is quite fascinating. I didn’t want that too much with Infinity though. I was more focused on the overall, three-dimensional, cyberspace, universal picture of it. I do plan on using more images and concepts for future promotion and just for my followers to be able to collect and appreciate.”
Robin /// “In the span of your career, you’ve delivered multiple iconic videos- from ‘Boyz’ to ‘Born Free’- you’ve always explored many aspects from the art and effect used in music videos, to the actual message and purpose conveyed and integrated in the video. Which side of the M.I.A. madness can we expect as we get videos and more visuals moving forward?”
M.I.A. /// “Both. Simply put.”
Robin /// “And what exactly do you have planned?”
M.I.A. /// “I’ve worked on multiple videos with many people that I consider to be absolute geniuses- and the outcome of everything we’ve done so far has been great- for sure.”
Robin /// “This is the first time you’ve really actually invested into promoting an album full on- and surprise-releasing one- that’s definitely an admirable choice. Why so?”
M.I.A. /// “I felt that so far in my career, I’ve accomplished a lot- and I’ve made lots of amazing music that I’ll be proud of forever. But… I was missing that moment, you know?- just… that complete moment where you’re really able to make the world pause for a second with what you’ve got to say. And normally, when I have things to say, no one ends up hearing it- and half the people that do, don’t really give the ****s to really take it all in and respond to actually make a great contribution to the conversation. But also with the messages in music- I always have some sort of hidden / under-layered purpose to basically everything I do. It just happens to be more apparent and clear and obvious with the music videos I put out.”
Robin /// “Right.”
M.I.A. /// “So I feel that with Infinity, the music’s been better than ever before- so why not really push this project out the window, let it breathe, let it grow, and let it speak.”
Robin /// “And what songs, specifically, if we’re talking singles- you think can succeed.”
M.I.A. /// “I really think ‘Due Time’ is very anthemic, and memorable. There are many different songs which take you through many different vortexes in this whole space the album is in- but ‘Due Time’ is definitely a core to many of those vortexes’ starts and finishes.”
Robin /// “Will we be getting a visual for ‘Due Time’?”
M.I.A. /// “Absolutely. It’s been finished for a while, and it’s something I’ll be looking forward to unveiling.”
Robin /// “There’s a lot of madness and chaos in this music- who have you been working with, and what have you been channeling?”
M.I.A. /// “There’s some people like Diplo and Switch, who I’ve been working with for quite a long time on this album. There’s also some newcomers on the project such as DJ Mustard on this album, and Ariel Richardson who’ve done amazing work. I mainly rework many things in the studio and definitely get involved with everything that’s got my voice on it.”
Robin /// “So can we kiss the ‘Paper Planes’ girl goodbye?”
M.I.A. /// “My visas are packed- yeah.”
Robin /// “So not today?”
M.I.A. /// “Shop’s closed for now.”
Robin /// “And no Madonna in this?”
M.I.A. /// “No!”
Robin /// “Are things okay between the two of you?- after the Superbowl incident and such…”
M.I.A. /// “I plan on using much of the Infinity sales and commission from lots of other side projects I’ve been working on to still pay that due, but Madonna actually contributed and we’re still on great terms- just no involvement on this record and I’m not involved on ‘Rebel Heart’.”
Robin /// “Wow- how much?”
M.I.A. /// “My lips are sealed.”
Robin /// “And the key’s out too.”
M.I.A. /// “Well… considering what happen- I think it’s a good thing I threw that key out quite a while ago.”
Robin /// “Speaking of the Superbowl- it’s coming up around the corner. Who are you rooting for?”
M.I.A. /// “Oh- I actually don’t follow up- I just go… perform and stick up the finger for controversy basically.”
Robin /// “Will you be crashing the Superbowl this year?”
M.I.A. /// “Let me just sit here… and drink this coffee… and hold myself from hunting for that key again.”
Robin /// “Well M.I.A., it’s been a lovely chat with you. When we return, M.I.A. performs a mini-concert set from her album, Infinity, which is out in-stores right now.”
M.I.A. /// “Bye!”
After the break, M.I.A. headed outside in the sunny, cold day of New York to perform for thousands of people. Although in the real world, she performed eleven songs for the audience- the broadcast only showed five on the air. The set went as followed- “Jinx”, then “Funk” which was televised, then “Y.A.L.A.” from her previous album, then “Destruction” which was also televised. After an interlude, which was a completely remixed version of “World Town”, M.I.A. stepped back out on the stage to perform the second half of the concert. She started back off with “Paper Planes” which was also televised, followed by the amazing “Bad Girls”. She then played fresh material- “Simmer Summer Down”, “Eureka”, “Generally Speaking”, “Muffled Cry”. She ended off with “Due Time”, which was extremely euphoric and best-received by the crowd and the production staff at Good Morning America, since they televised it. After the episode was taken over by M.I.A., all the tracks she performed significantly rose up on iTunes and other digital retailers- as well as the album blazing from #5 to #2 in a heartbeat. M.I.A. and her label have more promotion planned for the week- and much more in-store for the world as Infinity has just started its conquest to global domination.

What way does it work if we happen to be on the show on the same day? Is there a rule about that?

“PARTYNAUSEOUS” Lyric Video uploaded to LadyGagaVEVO
A lyric video for Lady Gaga and queen of pop Madonna’s “PARTYNAUSEOUS” collaboration has been released. The video shows Gaga and Madonna on multiple nights out in Hollywood, and features cameos from celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, drag queen Willam Belli, Paris Hilton, Khloe Kardashian and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes just to name a few.

The footage was shot on a GoPro camera and a vintage retro camera by noneother than Terry Richardson. The lyrics are displayed at the bottom of the screen and come in with slick animation and effects. It shows the duo both smoking (cigarettes, marijuana – it could be ANYTHING) and drinking in various night clubs on a series of nights out which were reported about later last week and earlier this week. Whether it be a dingy shisha café, a gay bar, a strip club or a commercial nightclub, the queens of pop where there. A scene that caught many viewers was where Gaga and Madonna seemed to be in a catfight of sorts.

Towards the end of the video, the camera follows Madonna and Gaga going back to a glamorous hotel room. The lights are out and through a blurry night-visioned view we see Gaga and Madonna on the bed presumably nude. Their body parts are blurred out and some parts of the scenes have a big “CENSORED” logo across the screen. At the end of the video there is an announcement saying that the music video will be coming to Vevo on January 22nd.
Both Madonna and Gaga tweeting “#PARTYNAUSEOUSLyricVideo” has made it #1 trending hashtag in the US and UK as the video racks up thousands of viewers minute after minute. Controversy has already begun based on the suggestive scenes in the video. An edited version of the video is being issued out to music channels.
