let me quote a review - "P!nk shows off her circus skills again, this time at a secret gig at the Palais De Nikaia in Nice, and proves that even though Britney might have an album called "Circus," P!nk is master of this ring."
sales:
I'm Not Dead - 6 500 000
Blackout - 2 000 000
The tours:
Singing - P!nk > Britney, don't need to defent that
Dancing - P!nk = Britney
Acrobatics - P!nk > Britney

well put!
now watch Britney stans present us all the data of Britney's first and second album sales, but the point is that briteney's latest albums flopped, even in the light of reduced album sales, while P!nk's lates albums are bestsellers in the years when they were released.
True from where?
I can't remember pink dance well, especially on her last 2 albums.
Even with Britney's chessy choreography like in Piece Of Me, it's still better than pink's effort.
I'm not hating anyway, but that statement just

sometimes less is more. not dancing at all is better then dancing like Britney. But we all know that P!nk can dance (get this party started) and she's doing some dancing routines in her latest shows as well, it just doesn't get noticed because the focus isn't made on dancing, as she has better things to do, that are more natural to a SINGER.

she has some great choreographies... Britney's just walking the stage lately, but let's say she is "dancing".
P!nk does NOT dance better than Britney! This is shamefull, because the more you're trying to prove that useless point, the more you prove that you have no idea who Britney really is.
P!nk only dreams of dancing like Britney... and selling, too ...
why is everyone saying Funhouse is selling more than Circus? Funhouse was released 2 months before Circus... in 2 months Circus would have 3.4 million.
First : pink dances better than britney
then,
bipolar much?
Anyway, why the predictions don't come up?
if you read it all carefully, I gave the dancing thing to Britney, even though you can't say that P!nk is far behind. and even if P!nk wouldn't dance at all, just stand still on the stage, her show would still be better then Britney's, cause (saying it for the 1000th time) she would be singing LIVE, and in music business LIVE singing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>lip synching+ dancing, good show, and anything else you can think of.
But I don't want to come a little rude on you, you don't act like a hater.
bipolar? I didn't say anything contradicting there

oh geez, you never read all of the previous posts do you? even though Funhouse was released 1 month (not 2) before Circus, right now its selling more then Circus worldwide on weekly basis... now what does that mean??? when Circus will be at 3,400,000, Funhouse will be at 4,500,000
lmao, N@te was the one starting this whole thing trying to be a smartass about Britney's album not selling well after the tour starting and laughing, so yes it was Pink fans who started this one
Anyways i love both Pink and Britney so both fans of them need to stop.
Yes i did that after someone bashed Beyonces amazing sales which btw are outselling P!nk and Britney together.
Just one thing for you, bow down to her dancing when Brit first started, but NOW, ATM P!nk is even a better dancer than Britney.
All those ***** commens make me You should be ashamed of her silly comments, or she should be!
And you know, you`d all think different if you`ve seen P!nk`s concert - she sings, dances, spins in the air, plays the guitar... but i guess that wont happen so you better shut your mouths.

Idiot. Britney did not promote Circus, comparing to P!nk.. Just watch in 3 weeks when sales blow up, will you?

Kelly Clarkson on Target for #1, The-Dream Also Debuting, Three 100k in Top 10?
March 11, 2009
Just look at it this way. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. The stock market’s holding its own and there are three six-figure sales totals in next week’s Top 10 on the authoritative, HITS Top 50 Album sales chart.
We haven’t seen that since 2008. In fact, we’ve only had one week this year with even two titles selling more than 100k.
But enough of the bad news...
RCA/RMG’s Idol alum and female empowerment role model Kelly Clarkson should unseat this week’s champs U2 with her new album, All That I Needed, and current iPod staple, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” which we interpret as her tribute to this very website. With a slew of TV appearances this week, including American Idol tonight and Saturday Night Live unh, um, Saturday night, her first album is currently looking on target to sell between 200-225k, but we reserve the right to hedge our bets based on how the tubular explosion plays out.
Based on one-day sales figures from those retailers not liquidating their inventory, Def Jam’s The-Dream seems set for a nice sales week between 125-150k for his Love vs Money, as he obviously decides on the latter. He’s currently jamming the airwaves with “My Love,” a duet with Mariah Carey.
Capitol soul man J. Holiday debuts with a not-bad total of 60-65k for Round 2, the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated debut, which produced the hit “Bed,”while New Found Glory makes its Epitaph bow with 25-30k for Not Without a Fight, the Florida emo rockers’ sixth album and first after splitting Geffen.
Interscope’s ex-Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell parlays his collab with Timbaland into a 20-25k debut for Scream, his third solo album and first for the producer’s Mosley Music Group imprint.
Finally, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ latest for Interscope, It's Blitz!, whose release date was moved up to an iTunes exclusive after massive online leaks, will garner 14-16k at that retailer alone, which is indicative of the power of digital sales at this point in time.
The market was up 2% this week vs. last week, down 8% vs. same week last year and down 11% year to date. Brother, can you spare a paying trade journalism gig?
