YLIMD is not great, it's good but not great, the production is really average but the vocal melody and lyrics make up for it. I prefer the remixes that actually have good production. Luke ****ed that one up.

TiK ToK > Your Love Is My Drug > Take It Off would have been the biggest 1-2-3 punch since Just Dance/Poker Face/LoveGame tbh. Blah Blah Blah should've stayed "that album track that charted at #7 on Billboard due to Kesha's insane digital sales power alone." Much more impressive than "that flop second single that is one of the least successful in her discography."

Follow that up with Kiss N Tell and Paparazzi's wig wouldn't have been safe. I'm seeing 4 Top 3 hits there. A Katy Teenage Dream tea.

They probably stopped at four singles cause they didn't want to risk a flop. Bringing out new material sooner rather than later was the best option tbh at the time

It was a slight underperformance. Very slight. Perhaps it was a combination of overexposure and, well, it was very similar to her other singles, wasn't it? It peaked at #8 (her lowest-peaking Top 10 hit, excluding My First Kiss) in the US. I think it would have fared better had it been released earlier though (i.e. no Blah Blah Blah, YLIMD in Feb and TIO in May).

Yeah I agree. I mean in my head I would rather see a few more singles but it was probably a smart decision releasing Cannibal tbh.
