I thought UEE and Jungah resigned with PLEDIS? I think they are just going to really promote AS this next comeback, maybe even a full album to make it more of an "event" than just a regular comeback.
I won't read too much into it this early. I hope they ditch Brave Brothers and use a new producer too. I expect a new member next comeback also.
I don't want to look into this "rebirth" too much, it's gonna create too many ideas in my head. Just grateful whoever does get added into After School will be a new face. I didn't ever want Yoonjo or Yoo Ara joining. They're not After School girls to me.
Let it be a 2nd full album, new producers (maybe some of the ones they used for Dress To Kill), a new girl or two, and have it be something completely different. Still mature, powerful and feminine, of course.
Also, kind of bummed about this DSP Girls debut and then thinking about Youngji being in KARA. But maybe it'll work out for the best for both groups.
We have CLC, Pink Punk, 6MIX and T-ARA 2.0 all coming.
All the solos are exciting to me. K-pop will be so diverse this year.
I'm calling another SNSD solo in the second half of the year. Probably Tiffany but who knows. SM better let Jessica go solo in Korea with all the crap they put her through too at least.
Pledis better give After School their second full album before Jungah and U-ie graduate. I don't mind a "rebirth" during the middle of the year. It could give them a lot of media attention.
The most probable scenario is that Jungah and U-ie will also graduate mid-year which leaves the group with Orange Caramel + Eyokan / Iyokan + one or two new girls for an all new-seven unit formation.

She has After School written all over her, but I'm not as pressed as I used to because Kaeun is amazing too, and is starting to get coverage. She would have been a great addition. After School might always be middle-tier, but Lime could have been the next K-Pop It Girl just like UEE and Nana.
Never forget this bop by Nana, Lizzy and After School Pre-School Girl Kyungmin. Whatever happened to the good sis? Maybe she's the next member FINALLY? She's supposed to be Kahi-levels in terms of dancing.
Ara's no longer in Pledis not Yoonjo. Although I wouldn't be shocked if she's not far behind.

PLEDIS could of just told us that they all resigned to throw us of the scent. I mean, they told us when Kaeun was added A.S. would comeback as a 9-membered group then Kahi graduated a little while later (which is why Kahi tweeted seemingly confused about their being 9 members - she must of thought PLEDIS was gonna add another girl too)

Would of never happened, she was always a Fantiago trainee. But yes, it would of been glorious.

Who knows. I'm inclined to believe not, but PLEDIS could have a whole separate group of trainees than the Ladyteen girls they've been promoting as backing dancers.
Companies cast trainees specifically to provide sexual favors
Q: Is it true that some companies cast celebrity trainees specifically to provide sexual services?
Entertainment agency rep: There are trainees that are cast into a pleasure group.
Entertainment agency rep: They're the type of trainees that would be considered pretty by any non-celebrity
Entertainment agency rep: But professionally, they lack in some areas to fully debut as celebrities. They usually get picked into pleasure groups.
Companies will split trainees into those that have the looks and talents to debut and those that don't. The ones that don't are used to provide sexual services and later kicked out of the company. They're basically used to open up opportunities for their real trainees.
-
1. [+45, -2] This is why they say the entertainment industry is dirty...
2. [+27, -1] That's so cruel... they're probably thinking that they'll become celebrities one day too
3. [+25, -1] I don't know about the bigger companies but smaller ones whether you're a celebrity or a model are forced to deal with sponsors. Sponsors are a necessity in the industry to get anywhere. Celebrities will either work with many different sponsors or just one. NS Yoonji's pretty and good at live but people think she's not getting anywhere because she doesn't use sponsors.
4. [+16, -0] I was a trainee at a small agency for three years and I had to give up my dreams after realizing how dirty everything was. At our company, the trainees were divided into 'effort group' and 'practice group'. The people at the company called the effort group unnis the 'pleasure group'. Now that I think about it, I think that group was to provide sexual favors. They'd always say they had to check clothes fits and sizes and dress them in skimpy clothing and take them somewhere every weekend. The industry's dirty.
5. [+10, -1] It's undeniable that companies definitely favor trainees that they know will become a big star.
AllKPop reports every damn thing about UEE and Orange Caramel (or some random model's shoot) but not E-Young and Kaeun's recent shoot. Kudos to Omona They Didn't! http://omonatheydidnt.livejournal.com/14890620.html

Don't worry sis. E-Young and Kaeun are already planning the "rebirth" of After School.
