Tennessee Williams is actually brilliant. If you enjoyed it, make sure to read Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. It is very beautiful and deals with similar themes of loss and greed + lots of good ole homosexuality.

The movie is good too but they cut a lot of the best parts out of it that it just feels so inferior. Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor are probably the sexiest couple ever in it though and they are in their prime.

I loved it, but I didn't enjoy Scene 11 that much. I wish they ended it differently.
