YAY!! AAR finally has a number one pop song!

Grrrr.......... it looks like "I'm Yours" will once again remain on the chart. Last week it was because "Hot N Cold" lost more spins, and this week "Womanizer" missed more spins, "Green Light" stalled, and "Beautiful" didn't move up fast enough.

this year has alot more diversity for the mediabase chr/pop, and its alot more pop influenced then R&B/Rap/Hip Hop..

already 7 #1's this year in 2 months! with Britney, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and All American Rejects all getting #1's! If someone asked me several months ago if these artists would be ruling pop radio this year i would've thought u were crazy!

Shocking, because 2008 had 13 number ones in total. Like you said, we've already had 7 number ones in less than two months. We'll probably have at least fifteen more number ones by the end of the year.

I agree, although I like less #1's, which indicates more longevity for some tracks, I also enjoy seeing many different tracks getting to the top.

and I love the fact that the majority of the number ones so far are "really pop" and not r&B/hip-hop oriented.
