EXACTLY. I love Namie but she is just using all of us new band-wagoners for fame, popularity and money. She's definitely not a label puppet so I'm pretty convinced that she does all of this of her own volition. I honestly don't mind being used, it just is what it is. I'm getting decent-to-great music out of it so idc if she has no artistic integrity.

edit - I will say though, I did not appreciate the misogynistic and ageist undertones directed at some of the gals. Telling someone to act their age is eternally tacky. IDC how much you dislike Ayumi, she's not bad because she's trying to act 22, she's bad because the music is really basic. smh
