On an unrelated topic, I finished Bayonetta 2 and it has quickly become my favourite game ever, surpassing the first. It may have been slightly easier but the story was better and the combat was so much more fluid, especially her kicks which were so much faster than in the first! I really hope we see a third or some DLC, shame few people recognise how good Platinum's games are

 Stan for the Umbran witch!

I bought Bayonetta 2 for the sake of supporting third parties, but I didnt expect it drag me to paradiso, drop me to hell, back to heaven on an arwing and scream over Madama Butterfly. Its the best game in the Wii U library and will stay that way until we get news of the next Bayonetta project.
SM3DW is a great game, but it really was just a sequel to 3D land. The level design and graphics were beautiful and I had so much fun playing it with my family, but it doesnt feel like a staple 3D Mario at all. Enough of the linear levels/boring hubs a la Galaxy 2/3DW and bring it back to the mushroom kingdom.
The thing about the first 3D Mario games was that their hubs and worlds were so much more immersive, interactive and memorable. 64 had Peach's castle, bob-omb battlefield and cool cool mountain. Sunshine had Delfino Plaza and Bianco hills. Galaxy 1 had the flawless Rosalina Observatory and her storybook. It just gave the game character and is why so many people want follow ups and remakes.
