OK, another question before I log off: Are Taylor Swift fans country of pop? For me, I love to see more rock in Taylor's music.

I think, for Taylor to transition from COUNTRY to POP this era is a SAFE move, not a RISKy move, what do you guys think?
Edit: Not releasing ANY country song on 1989 is a BRAVE move but not a RISKy one.

1989 does not have any country songs.
Keeping in mind the artistic integrity, going Pop was a risky move but if it was only done to get success, it was a safe move

Good point.
I think it as a safe move, because it didn't confuse her fans, she made a very clear statement that 1989 was a pure pop album, honestly I was surprised. Then look back, if she released RED 2.0, some country fans will dislike some pop songs, and pop fans will dislike some country songs (like OnlyMan hates THIS LOVE which I love the most)

Rocco Pendola wrote a series of articles asking Taylor to save rock, as the Trigger guy from SAVING COUNTRY MUSIC who asks Taylor to save country, they are interesting reads.

My top 5 on 1989 which nearly never changed:
THIS LOVE
CLEAN
OUT OF THE WOODS
BLANK SPACE
BAD BLOOD
The first 2 are ballads which I love.
OOTW is her future SOUND which I prefer.
BS and BB represent her current sound.
Edit: Rock is the best for stadium tour, Taylor need to put more rock into LP6, even though some of her previous rock songs flopped at music charts, but not at tour, SOG is the best example

I'd like a pretty literal video for Style, guy picking her up on a car, then they get to her place and make out. Done in a retro movie style. So that would be at least 2 sets, car & house... maybe we need one more set.
I think one of the things I loved about blank space MV is how they used the songs lyrics and took it from there. I'm still mad we didn't get that All too well video...

Rock does not need saving though. Still there are plenty of rock groups who make excellent rock music. Can't say the same about Country though. Country radio for the most part has completely ignored the artist who had made good country songs especially the new country artist in past few years. They hardly play their songs on the radio which are miles better than the song currently being paid on the country radio.

Honestly STYLE MV is much more difficult to make, that's why I WAS not as optimistic about its chart performance, as BLANK SPACE in the past and BAD BLOOD in the future.
I have 4 seasons in my mind regarding STYLE MV if it's fashion related, if they release it before summer (considering its lyrics, it will be the best releasing STYLE as a summer single).

For rock, it's not golden age nowadays, even though you are right about rock groups nowadays.
For country, I want to say, people normally realize how important a thing is AFTER they lose it, sadly not when they have it.

It's a joke we broke our record when this base was super dead, for me, it's the number of my edits.
Taylor brought younger generation to country, more importantly the fresh air into beer (beer is sparkling, right? Just kidding) and trucks.
Edit: Now, she left.
Edit2: Taylor leaving country is not her fault, look at what happened from 2013 to 2014 regarding country.

I'm actually responding to the members who have recently said "oh, I am such a Stan" in this base, yet they bash Taylor in recent threads. Yea, they know who they are. Keep stanning for success when your faves can't.
